ASSEMBLY 1. Lift the water t a n k off the central body. 2. Turn over the water tank an d unscrew the water tank cap at the bottom of the tank b y turning it counter clockwise. ( See Fig. 6 ) Fig. 6 3. Fill water tank wi th cold wate r; do not fill all the way to the rim.
8. Use the humidity output reg ulator control knob to adjust the intensity of the vap or output. Turning the knob clockwise will increase t h e moisture output, tu rning the knob counterclockwise with reduce the moistu re output. (see Fig. 10) Fig. 10 9.
A NOTE ABOUT HUMIDITY It is best to keep the humidity level at about 30-50 percent of relative humidity . The comfort level of humi dity will vary fr om room to room and with changing room conditions. In cold weather, windows a nd even some walls may fog or develop frost from excessive indoor humidit y.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Before any cleaning operation, switch the humidifier off and unplug it. 1. Always unplug the uni t before cleaning. 2. The humidifier must be drained and cleaned before storing. 3. Once unplugged the exteri or of the unit ma y be cleaned by wipi ng with a dry clot h.
10 STORING YOUR HUMIDIFIER Allow the appliance t o dry completely before storing. St ore the appliance in a dry location. Do not place any heavy items on top of appliance du ring storage as this may result in possible damage of the appliance. Store th e cord in a clean, dry location aw ay from metal objects.
