IMPORTANT: Yourtractor is shipped with motoroil in the engine. However, you MUST check the oil level before operating. Referto the Service& Maintenance section for instructions on checking the oil level.

SYSTEMS iNDiCATOR MONITOR/HOUR METER Yourtractor is equipped with a Systems Indicator Monitor as shown in Figure 3. The monitorrecordsthe accumulated hours of tractor operation, and displays the information on the LCD hourmeterdisplay (tenths of an hour- rightmost digit).
Nevermovethe key into the Start positionwhile the engine is running. Doing so maycausedamage to your engine'sstarter. CHOKECONTROL The chokecontrol knob is locatedon the lower Idt side of the dash paneland is activatedby pullingoutward. Activating the chokecontrol closes the choke plate on the carburetor and aids in starting the engine.
Avoid Serious injury or Death • Go up and down slopes, not across. Avoid sudden turns. Do not operate the unit where it could slip or tip. If machine stops going uphill, stop blades and back downhill slowly. • Do not mow when children or othersare around.
IMPORTANT: Mowingin reverse is not recommended. To use the REVERSE CAUTION MODE: IMPORTANT: The operator MUST be seated in the tractor seat. 1. Start engineas instructed in the StartingThe Engine section. 2. Turn the key from the NORMAL MOWING (Green)positionto the REVERSE CAUTION MODE (Yellow) positionof the keyswitch module.
DRiViNG THE TRACTOR iMPORTANT: Avoid sudden starts, excessive speed and sudden stops. NOTE: YourRevolution tractor is equipped with an innovative drive system.It is normal for someforwardmovement of the tractor to occur when the brake is released. . 2.
3. Remove your foot fromthe brake pedal. 4. Releasepressure fromthe parking brake lever. After completing step 3, the brake pedalshould remain in the down position. If it doesn't,the parking brake is not engaged. Repeat steps 1-4to engagethe parking brake.
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE Before performing any typeof maintenance/service, disengage all controls and stop the engine. Waituntil all moving partshave come to a complete stop. Disconnect sparkplug wire andground it against the engine to prevent unintended starting.
ENGINE MAINTENANCE Checking the Engine Oil Only use high qualitydetergent oil rated with API service classification SF,SG, SH, or S J, Selectthe oil's SAEviscositygradeaccordingto the expected operating temperature. 5. Add oil as described above. 6. Start and run the engine. As the engine warms up, check for oil leaks. 7. Stop the engine and check the oil level. It should be at the FULL mark on the dipstick. Fuel Filter 3losion can causesevereburns or death. o 1.
Spark Plug 1. Clean areaaroundthe spark plug base.Do not sandblast spark plug. Spark plug should be cleaned by scrapingor wire brushing and washing with a commercial solvent 2. Remove and inspect the spark plug. Check gap to makesure it is set at .030".
TIRES Neverexceed the maximum inflation pressureshownon t!e sidewall of tire. Referto the tire sidewall for exact tire manufacturer s recom- _mended or maxmum ps.
Charging the Battery If the tractor has not been put into use for an extendedperiodof time, charge the battery with an automotive-type 12-volt charger for a minimum of one hourat six amps.
4. Working from the left side of the tractor, loosen,but do not remove, the hex cap screw in the left deck adjustment bracket. See Figure 15. Adjustment Gear Hex Cap Screw Figure 15 5. To even the deck turn the adjustment gear, locatedimmediately behindthe hex cap screw, clockwise (rearward) to lower the left side of the deck.

Raisethe front of the tractor and set it on jack stands,so the front wheelsare suspended above the ground.
BLADES Be sure to shutthe engineoff, remove ignition key, disconnect the sparkplug wire(s) to preventunintended starting before removing the cutting blade(s) for sharpening or replacement. Protect your hands b_ us ng heavyg oves or a rag to grasp the cutt ng bade.
2. Pivotthe idler bracket/idler pulley to relieve the tensionon the timingbelt, and reposition the drive pulley and/or timingpulley to achieve the 900orientation of the timingarrowson the pulleys. 3. Re-install the idler bracket backstop and positionso that there is a 1/8" gap between the backstop and idler bracket.
4. Applying forceto either the timing belt idlerpulley or the timing belt idler bracket, pivotand hold the idler bracket against the spring tension just far enoughto allow liftingthe timing belt off and above the idler pulley.Carefully release the idler bracket.
15. If the timing belt was installedcorrectlyand the timing arrows were positioned as shownin Figure 23, the cutting blades should be in the positionshownin Figure 24. -.. J Figure 24 16. Reinstall the PTO belt onto the RH spindle drive pulley and re-install the deck as describedin "Re-installing the Cutting Deck" below.

1. Para usarla, tome la rnanija de la palanca de elevaci6n y tire levernente hacia arribay atr_.s rnientraspivotala palanca hacia adentro y afuera para desalojarla de la rnuesca. 2. Muevala palanca de elevaci6n Io necesario para colocarlaen la rnuesca que rnejorse adapte a la aplicaci6n deseada.

MANTENIMIENTO DE MOTOR Comprobaci6n de Aceite del Motor Use solarnente un aceitedetergente de alta calidad cuya clasificaci6n de servicio API sea SF,SG, SH o SJ. Seleccione el gradode viscosi- dad SAEdel aceiteseg0n la ternperatura de operaci6n esperada.

Instale el filtro de aceitecon la rnanohasta que la junta en contacto con el adaptador de filtrode aceitey, a continuaci6n, apriete el filtro de aceite 1 / 2a3 / 4 turnos.

Las ruedas traseras Las ruedas traseras se deben sacarde los ejes una vez por tempo- rada, Lubriquebien los ejes y las Ilantas con una grasa todo uso antes de reinstalarlos, Transmisi6n IVT La transrnisi6n IVT viene sellada de f_.brica y no tiene rnantenirniento alguno.
2. Desconecte la potencia de arranque (enganche de cuchilla), coloque el freno de rnano y detenga el motor. 3. Enrosque el acople de boquilla(ernbalado con el Manual del Operador de su tractor) en el extrerno de la rnanguera de jardfn. 4. Tire hacia atr_.
AJUSTES Nuncaintentehacer ajustes rnientras el motorest_ en rnarcha, excepto cuando asf Io especificael manual del operador. Desconecte los cables de las bujfasantesde realizar cualquier ajuste, reparaci6n o rnantenirniento.
5. Paranivelar la plataforrna gire el rnecanisrno de ajuste, ubicado inrnediatarnente detr_.s del tornillo hexagonal, en sentidode las agujas del reloj (hacia atr_.s) parabajar el ladoizquierdo de la plataforrna. Gireel mecanisrno en sentidocontrarioalas agujas del reloj (hacia adelante) para levantar el lado izquierdo de la plataforrna.

9. La correa de la potenciade arranque(PTO) es capturada por un guardacorrea en el interior de la poleade la potencia de arranque en la base del motor. Desdeabajodel lateral delantero/izquierdo del tractor,ubiqueel tornillo autoroscante hexagonal que sujeta el costado izquierdo del guardacorrea a la base del marco del tractor.
Control de la sincronizaci6n de las cuchillas Durante el funcionarniento normal la sincronizaci6n de las cuchillas de corte se puedealterar pot la presencia de cargasanorrnales en una o arnbas cucNlas de corte. Verifique regularrnente las flechas de sincronizaci6n de los conjuntos de husillo para cornprobar que est_n a 90 o una de otra.
2. Saque la polea de transrnisi6n de la correa de la potencia de arranque del conjunto de husillo derecho segQn se describe en "Carnbio de la correa de la potencia de arranque".
14. Coloque nuevarnente los cornponentes del tope de retenci6n del soporteinterrnedio, corno estabaninstalados originalrnente en el alojarniento de la plataforrna, y uUquelo de rnanera que quede una separaci6n de 1/8" entre el tope de retenci6n y el soporte interrnedio.

SYSTEMS iNDiCATOR MONITOR/HOUR METER Yourtractor is equipped with a Systems Indicator Monitor as shown in Figure 3. The monitorrecordsthe accumulated hours of tractor operation, and displays the information on the LCD hourmeterdisplay (tenths of an hour- rightmost digit).
Nevermovethe key into the Start positionwhile the engine is running. Doing so maycausedamage to your engine'sstarter. CHOKECONTROL The chokecontrol knob is locatedon the lower Idt side of the dash paneland is activatedby pullingoutward. Activating the chokecontrol closes the choke plate on the carburetor and aids in starting the engine.
Avoid Serious injury or Death • Go up and down slopes, not across. Avoid sudden turns. Do not operate the unit where it could slip or tip. If machine stops going uphill, stop blades and back downhill slowly. • Do not mow when children or othersare around.
IMPORTANT: Mowingin reverse is not recommended. To use the REVERSE CAUTION MODE: IMPORTANT: The operator MUST be seated in the tractor seat. 1. Start engineas instructed in the StartingThe Engine section. 2. Turn the key from the NORMAL MOWING (Green)positionto the REVERSE CAUTION MODE (Yellow) positionof the keyswitch module.

3. Remove your foot fromthe brake pedal. 4. Releasepressure fromthe parking brake lever. After completing step 3, the brake pedalshould remain in the down position. If it doesn't,the parking brake is not engaged. Repeat steps 1-4to engagethe parking brake.
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE Before performing any typeof maintenance/service, disengage all controls and stop the engine. Waituntil all moving partshave come to a complete stop. Disconnect sparkplug wire andground it against the engine to prevent unintended starting.
ENGINE MAINTENANCE Checking the Engine Oil Only use high qualitydetergent oil rated with API service classification SF,SG, SH, or S J, Selectthe oil's SAEviscositygradeaccordingto the expected operating temperature. Charging the Battery If the tractor has not been put into use for an extendedperiodof time, charge the battery with an automotive-type 12-volt charger for a minimum of one hourat six amps.
4. Working from the left side of the tractor, loosen,but do not remove, the hex cap screw in the left deck adjustment bracket. See Figure 15. Adjustment Gear Hex Cap Screw Figure 15 5. 2. Pivotthe idler bracket/idler pulley to relieve the tensionon the timingbelt, and reposition the drive pulley and/or timingpulley to achieve the 900orientation of the timingarrowson the pulleys. 3. Re-install the idler bracket backstop and positionso that there is a 1/8" gap between the backstop and idler bracket.
4. Applying forceto either the timing belt idlerpulley or the timing belt idler bracket, pivotand hold the idler bracket against the spring tension just far enoughto allow liftingthe timing belt off and above the idler pulley.Carefully release the idler bracket.

AJUSTES Nuncaintentehacer ajustes rnientras el motorest_ en rnarcha, excepto cuando asf Io especificael manual del operador. Desconecte los cables de las bujfasantesde realizar cualquier ajuste, reparaci6n o rnantenirniento.

Paranivelar la plataforrna gire el rnecanisrno de ajuste, ubicado inrnediatarnente detr_.s del tornillo hexagonal, en sentidode las agujas del reloj (hacia atr_.s) parabajar el ladoizquierdo de la plataforrna. Gireel mecanisrno en sentidocontrarioalas agujas del reloj (hacia adelante) para levantar el lado izquierdo de la plataforrna.
