NOTE: Only those dust masks suitable for working with lead paint dust and fumes should be used. Ordinary painting masks do not offer this protection. See your local hardware dealer for the proper (NIOSH approved) mask. NO EATING, DRINKING OR SMOKING should be done in the work area to prevent ingesting contaminated paint particles.

This Random Orbit Sander has the following features cont.: 6. On/Off rocker switch is conveniently located for easy control. Sealed to keep out dust for long life. 7. Hook and Loop Backing Pad for easy attachment of hook and loop type sanding discs with pre-punched holes.
WARNING: Your sander should NEVER be connected to the power source when you are assembling parts, making adjustments, installing or removing sandpaper, cleaning or when it is not in use. Disconnecting the sander will prevent accidental starting, that could cause serious personal injury.
DUST BOX / DUST COLLECTION /_, WARNING: Collected sanding dust from sandJing surface coatings (polyurethane, linseed oil, etc.) can self-ignite in sander dust box or elsewhere and cause fire. To reduce risk, empty dust box frequently and strictly follow sander manual and coating manufacturer's instructions.
TO REMOVE AND EMPTY DUST BOX cont. J OTE: Empty dust box frequently so dust collection system works properly. For more efficient operation, empty dust box when it is no more than 1/2 full.
ATrACHING VAC HOSE TO THE DUAL DUST PORT ADAPTER cont. NOTE: A standard 11/4-in. vac hose connection fits i,lside the smaller diameter J hole inside the dual dust port adapter, while a standard 21/2-in.
VARIABLE SPEED SWITCH (see Fig. 7) The variable speed dial allows matching the correct speeds to sandpaper grits and various surfaces and materials being sanded for either fast material removal or a fine smooth finish. Rotate the dial from 1 to 6, with 1 being the lowest speed and 6 the highest speed.
USING YOUR SANDER cont.(see Fig.8 on page 17) 4. Upon completion of sanding operation, turn sander off and wait until sanding disc comes to a complete stop before removing from workpiece.

PARA QUITAR Y VACIAR LA CAJA DEL POLVO cont. NOTA: Vacie frecuentemente el sistema recolector de polvo para quefuncione correctamente. Para un funcionamiento mds eficie, nte,vacie la cajadel polvo antes de que se Ilene mds de la mitad. Estopermitird una mejor circulaci6n de airea trav_s de la caja.
COLOCACION DE LA MANGUERA DE ASPIRADOFIA AL ADAPTADOR cont. NOTA: Una manguera estdndar de 11A pulgada se acopla dentro del orificio mds peque_o del adaptador doble, mientras que unamanguera estdndar de 2½ pulgada se acopla dentro del orificio mds grande del adaptador doble.

USANDO SULIJADORA (ver Fig.8 en pg. 41) 4. Cuando termine de lijar, apague la lijadora y espere h asta que el disco se detenga completamente antes de quitarlo de la pieza de trabajo.
ADVERTENCIA: No use joyas o ropa sueltas cuando trabaje con la lijadora. Elias pueden quedar atrapadas en las piezas m6viles causando lesiones graves. Mantenga la cabeza alejada de la lijadora 'if del drea que se estd lijando. El cabello puede ser atraido hacia la lijadora causando lesiones graves.
