4 FEATURES The follow i ng features are provided in this Color Monitor. Sharpest Foc us and Highest Contra s t Flat screen Enhanced Dot Pitch (EDP) CRT with anti-glare, dynamic focus circuit, dark glass and an INVAR shadow mask gives the sharpest focus and highest contrast to minimise eye fatigue.
5 Color Adjustment Color adjustments give the user the flexibility to customize co lor settings for different ty pes of applicat ions. Text based applic ations t hat use light backgrounds with bl ack text benefi t from c ooler bluish white “paper like” c olors.

8 Installation Diskette MONITOR INF DI SK for Windows ® 95/98 1. Monitor INF file This monitor compl ies with DDC. If your computer system (including the video adapter) complies with DDC, you will obtain the optimum performance from this monitor.
9 OPERATION Power ON/OFF Press the pow er switch to switch the pow er ON or OFF. When the power is ON, the power indicator w ill light up. NOTE: • First turn on the monitor, then the computer. • After turning OFF the pow er switch, wait at least 5 seconds before restarting the mon itor .
10 OPERATI ON (Continued) Brightness/Contrast Adjustment (1) Press one of the adjustment buttons w hen the OSD (On Screen Display ) is not shown. The O SD function will then show the brightness and contrast settings. (2) To adjust these settings, use the adjustment buttons / for brightness, and / for contrast.

23 CAUTIONS ENGLISH Discontinue Usage if A bnormal Oper a tion Occurs ! Abnormal operations such as smoke, burning smell, excessiv e sound, etc. could cause fire or electrical shock. If you observe any abnormal operation, you should turn O ff the monitor and disconnect the pow er plug from the pow er outlet.
