2 Congratulations . Y ou have purchased a Regent motion-activated sensor retrofit unit with adapter. This unit will conv ert a standard floodlight or lantern into a motion-activated security light, providing safety and conv enience for your home and family .

Step 5: Y our motion sensor may be wall or ceiling mounted. P osition motion sensor a minimum of 3” awa y and below your existing light. Do not pull the coiled cord too tight. Make sure sensor head is positioned with control switches facing tow ards the ground and that the slots in the mounting plate are also facing the ground.
5 TEST Setting Lights should turn on with motion both day and night. Lights should turn off after 4 seconds. TEST Keep the power to the fixture on. Return to A UTO Setting (motion activated) F rom any of the abo ve settings. A UTO 4 or A UTO 12 T urn the po wer OFF for at least 90 seconds, then back ON.
6 The light given off from the unit’s own lamps are affecting the motion sensor. • Re-aim lamps . • Reposition motion sensor. Is the switch on the bottom of the motion sensor in the TEST mode? • Move the switch to the AUTO 4 or 12 position. Is the motion detector shado wed? • Reposition motion sensor.
