1 Wireless PC Card The Wireless PC Card is a wireless netwo rk card that fits into an y standard PC Card T ype II slot. A standard Ethernet card requires a cable connection to a hub or a patch panel. Using the Wireless PC Card, you have the same connectivity without the wires.
2 Installing the Wireless PC Card T o install the Wireless PC Card, turn off your computer and simply inser t the card into the PC Card slot. If you ha ve a desktop computer , you need to use an internal wireless adapter in order to inser t the Wir eless PC Card.
3 Installing Driver s For Windows 98SE 1. P ow er on your computer . The Add Ne w Hardw are Wizard opens. Click Next to continue. 2. When the next window opens, select Search for a better driver for your de vice (Recommended) , and click Next .
4 3. Inser t the HomeP or tal Setup Wizard CD into your CD-ROM drive, uncheck Flopp y disk drives , select the CD-ROM drive checkbox, and click Next . 4.
