Introduction to the Octal T1-10/100 RIOP 1 Introduction to the Octal T1-10/100 RIOP The Octal T1-10/100 Ro uting Input/Output P rocessor (RIOP), as part of th e VSR multigigabit switching router , allows yo u to connect a local Ether net and up to eight remo te corporate networks.

In ord er to use a W AN interface, you may f irst need to set some phy sical paramet ers and t hen set up t he link and protocol parameters.
