Chapter 1 Introduction Overview The Compaq NC3 134 Fast Ethernet Se rver Adapter i s a second-generat ion, dual -port adapter that offers im proved perform ance over earl ier versions o f the product. This improvement is due to the 64-bit/66MHz PCI-to-PCI bridge, as well as to th e enhanced MAC silicon techno logy not previously avai lable.
