3 General Safety Information cont. • EXPLOSION - FIRE HAZARD • Ne v er store propane near high heat, open flames , pilot lights, direct sunlight, other ignition sources or where temperatures e xceed 120 deg rees F (49°C). • Propane is heavier than air and can accum ulate in low places.
4 T o Set Up CAUTION NO TE: Use 16.4 oz disposable propane cylinders only . Do not connect to bulk propane systems. The LP-gas cylinder(s) used with catalytic heaters must be constructed and mar ked in accordance with the specifications f or LP-gas cylinders of the U.
5 Electronic Ignition ■ Hold heater with both hands at a 45° angle, pointing aw ay from yourself and others . ■ T ur n valv e to ON position and repeatedly push red ignition button until heater ignites. ■ Heater will ignite with a brief visible flame after 10-12 seconds.

If heater must be mailed to Ser vice Center , attach your name , address, and a description of problem to product and and send to Service Center either by UPS or P arcel Post insured with shipping and insurance prepaid.

11 Généralités de sécurité (suite) • RISQUE D’EXPLOSION ET D’INCENDIE • Ne rangez jamais le propane près de la chaleur , de flammes, de v eilleuses, aux ra yons directs du soleil, d’une source d’inflammation, ou dans un endroit où la température puisse dépasser 49 °C (120 °F).
12 Assemblage REMARQUE : N’utilisez que des bouteilles jetables de propane de 465 g, JAMAIS de bonbonnes . Les bouteilles de GPL qui alimentent les chauff erettes catalytiques doivent être f abriqu.
13 ■ REMARQUE : Obser vez l’augmentation de chaleur pendant quelques minutes av ant de vous éloigner , pour vous assurer que la chauff erette soit bien allumée. Si la chaleur vous semble insuffisante , réglez la chauff erette à OFF (arrêt) puis rallumez-la.
