Liquefied P etroleum gas (abbreviated L.P . gas or propane), is highly flammable . It becomes liquid when stored under high pres- sure inside a cylinder and vaporizes when released.
• A T ype 1 compatible cylinder with a T ype 1 cylinder v alve has a back-chec k valve which does not permit gas flow , until a pos- itive seal has been obtained. • The cylinder must be arranged f or vapor withdra wal. It must also include a collar to protect the cylinder valv e.

Step 1 ■ Remove components from carton. (Fig. 15 & 16) ■ Carefully read and follo w the instructions for proper setup & use of your Coleman ® Ev ent Gr ill. CAUTION Because of its size and weight, it is recommended that there are at least two (2) people a vailab le to set up your Coleman ® Ev ent Gr ill.
NO TE: Storage position for the regulator is abo ve the grease pan. ■ Unlock the grease pan (located on the back side of the g rill). (Fig. 25) ■ Slide the grease pan half way out. (Fig. 26) Step 4 ■ Place a 20 lb. propane cylinder in the right tank mount and secure as shown.
9 Step 7 ■ Install two Grease P ans from front as shown. (Fig. 34) How to Chec k for Leaks 1. Make a soap y solution of equal par ts mild liquid dishwashing detergent and water . 2. T urn off all bur ner control knobs. 3. T urn on fuel supply . T urn cylinder valv e knob counterclock- wise (right to left) one rotation.

11 Step 3 ■ Remove Regulators from Propane Cylinder Connection. (Fig. 44) ■ Remove Grease P ans. Slide out from front of grill to clean or install new alumin um liners in Grease P ans. (Fig. 45) Step 4 ■ Unlock tab as shown. (Fig. 46) ■ Slide out Grease T ray .
