5 Maintenance • About stainless steel - Stainless steel e xposed to prolonged periods of high heat will change color and texture . Coleman grills require little preheating. T exture and color change is normal on interior components and will not affect the operation or perf or mance of the product.
Grill Assembl y 1. With lid latched, lift up on handle and set grill so it is resting on the back of the case . (Fig. 1) Note: Use a drop cloth to help protect the stainless steel finish. 2. Align bolts on leg with holes on bottom of grill and hand tighten knobs clockwise to secure .
Grill Assembl y continued 6. Install grease tra y onto tracks at bottom front of g r ill. (Fig. 6) 7. Inser t tab on heat tent into slot on brac ket at bac k of grill. (Fig. 7) 8. Push down on tab at front of heat tent to loc k into slot on grill brac ket.
Grill Assembl y continued 11. Push down on g rate to lock into tabs on right side of grill. (Fig. 11) 12. Inser t remaining grill grate under tab at bac k of grill, then push down on g rate to lock into tabs on left side of g r ill. (Fig. 12) 13. Place warming rack on tabs at left side of g r ill and push do wn to lock.

12 T o Clean 1. Make sure g r ill is cool. 2. Alwa ys detach the propane cylinder outdoors, aw a y from flame (including pilot lights) and other ignition sources. 3. The fitting on the regulator has a sliding collar that secures the regulator to the grill fuel line.
13 Cooking Tips CAUTION DO NO T operate the grill on a boat when it is in operation or moving. Alwa ys wait until securely anchored or tied to dock. CAUTION DO NO T operate appliance with a pot or pan on grill surface . Damage will occur and void the w arranty .
