A B C E D F G 4 Longer detachable po wer-supply cords or extension cords must be used with care. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or e xtension cord must be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the e xten- sion cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
5 DANGER • DO NO T inser t any foreign objects into the v alve outlet. Y ou ma y damage the valve . A damaged v alve can cause a leak, which could result in e xplosion, fire, se vere per- sonal injur y or death.
6 W ARNING Handle a full cylinder with care. Gas is under high pressure. DANGER • NEVER store a spare L.P . gas supply cylinder under the grill body or inside grill enclosure or in the vicinity of any heat producing appliance. (Fig. 12) • NEVER fill the cylinder bey ond 80% full.

Assembly/Set up (cont.) 8 STEP 1 BO TT OM & SIDE P ANELS ■ Install three screws from the top and three He x nuts from below as shown f or each side panel. ■ Tighten screws . STEP 3 MIDDLE DIVIDER ■ T ur n ov er assembly so wheels are down. ■ Install Middle Divider as shown.

Assembly/Set up (cont.) ■ Open Left Side Burner Lid and place T r ivet on Burner . STEP 16 LO WER DOOR MAGNETS STEP 18 DOORS ■ Install Left and Right Doors. ■ Inser t Bottom Door Pin into hole on Bottom F rame. ■ Hinge Pins are spring-loaded. Pull down to insert Hinge Pin into T op F rame Hole.
12 STEP 21 PROP ANE CYLINDER SETUP ■ Install Propane T ank Base as shown. ■ Secure the T ank Base to the gr ill with one self-tapping screw . The hole location is in the front of the T ank Base Flange. STEP 22 INST ALLING IGNITION BO X ■ Install Rotisserie Motor & Rotisser ie Spit as shown.
13 W ARNING THE FOLLOWING RULES MUST AL W A YS BE FOLLOWED IN THIS ORDER (Fig. 18): 1. OPEN GRILL LID! Any attempt to light the grill with the lid down could cause an e xplosion. 2. Check that the b ur ner control knobs are tur ned to “OFF”. 3. T ur n on fuel supply .
CAUTION DO NO T touch hot grill par ts with bare hands! Y ou MUST use protective glo ves. Shutting Off the Grill 14 1. T urn on any or all burner gas control knobs. (Fig. 19) 2. Press the Igniter switch until the flame ignites . 3. If the flame doesn’t immediately light, tur n off control knob and wait fiv e minutes for gas to clear .
15 Condition The Grill • Bef ore using the grill for the first time or after stor age, operate grill 15 minutes on high setting, with lid closed, to b ur n aw ay oil. • Once the oil has burned aw a y , check the b ur ner flame per ne xt step . The Burner Flame • K eep the grill lid closed and the cooking surfaces in place.
16 DANGER NEVER attempt to operate y our grill without orifices in the valv es. A ser ious and immediate fire hazard would result. Steps For Cleaning V enturi: 1. Remove b ur ner from grill bottom. 2. Look inside lower end of v entur i tubes for nests , webs or mud.
17 T roubleshooting CAUTION A collision with the grill, as with any metal object, could cause injur y . Use care when moving a por table gas grill. Moving the grill: • Mov e grill slowly . DO NO T r un with or pull the grill behind you; it could hit you from behind causing injury .
18 Y OUR NEW GAS GRILL IS EQ UIPPED WITH A TYPE 1 CONNECTION DEVICE WHICH HAS 3 SAFETY FEA TURES: (SEE TYPE 1 CONNECTION ILLUSTRA TION) 1. Proof of gas seal between the connector and the cylinder bef ore gas flow tak es place. 2. A flow-limiting de vice designed to limit the flow of gas in the e vent of a regulator or hose f ailure.
