3 General Safety Information cont. DANGER • EXPLOSION - FIRE HAZARD • Ne ver store propane near high heat, open flames, pilot lights , direct sunlight, other ignition sources or where temperatures e xceed 120 degrees F (49°C). • Propane is heavier than air and can accum ulate in low places.
4 T o Set Up ■ Unf old the stand. Extend legs. ■ Be sure that the locking b utton securely engages leg e xtension. ■ Swing wire brace into position and inser t ends of wire brace into holes in the leg. ■ Inser t side tables. ■ Place the stand outdoors and set on sturdy , flat surf ace.
5 Leak Check CAUTION • Do not use the stov e without the water pan in place. • Coleman recommends water in the w ater pan when in use. This will help pre vent a grease flare-up . W ARNING • P erform leak test outdoors. • Extinguish all open flames.
6 T o Light T o T urn Off ■ Open the stov e lid. Do not attempt to light the stov e with lid closed. ■ Open either BURNER V AL VE and push igniter button se ver al times until burner lights. (If the stov e is wet the igniter may not spark.) ■ The unit ma y be match lighted if there is no ignition.
Maintenance • BURN HAZARD • Do not touch or attempt any maintenance on sto ve f or at least one hour after use. • Make sure all controls are off and propane tank has been remo ved bef ore doing maintenance.
