GENERAL OPERATION POWER SOURCES Before conne cting the Unit to an AC outlet, chec k that the operating voltage of the Un it is id entical with the v oltag e of your local power supply. Connect the supplied AC powe r cord to the AC in jack. BATTERY OPERATION Switch the AC/DC se lector to DC position.
STEREO HEADPHONE JACK For private lis tening, insert the plug of a Stere o Headphone into the Ste reo Hea dphone JACK and ad just Volume Control Knobs, accordingly. During the use of h ead phone, the External Speake rs are automatically disconnec ted.
RECORDING A. RECORDING FROM THE BUILT-IN RADIO 1. Tune into the desired station. 2. Load a cassette into the TAPE b cassette compartment 3. Press the PAUSE button of TAPE B 4. Press the RECORD button of TAPE B, which also engages the PLAY button. 5. Press the PAUSE button again to begin recording.
CD PLAYBACK 1 Slide the FUNCTION switch to CD position. 2 Press the CD Open/Close button to open the CD com partment. 3 Place a CD on the spindle, lab el side up. 4 Close the CD compartment. The total numb er of tracks will be dis played. If the compartment is not close or there is no disc, “- -” sign will be displayed.
