5 THE F AMIL Y RADIO SERVICE ST OR Y T he FCC (F ederal Communication Commission) has created 14 high quality , license free frequenc y bands, or c hannels for F amily Radio Service (FRS). An y of these 14 channels are easily accessed on y our Cobra FRS 200 with a single push of a button.
INST ALLING BA TTERIES Insert (4) new “ AA ” Alkaline batteries (not provided) into the battery cartridge. T o install batteries, ( 1 ) remove the battery cov er from the unit. ( 2 ) Install the batteries according to the polarity markings provided on the cartridge.

T o select a lower channel, push the DO WN arrow key . **Note: T o quick ad vance c hannels, press and hold the selection key .
