T urn the On/Off/Volume switch. An audible “tone ” will indicate the unit is on. P ull lock tab down to r emove battery cover . Insert three “ AA ” batteries. P osition batteries according to polarity markings. Operation 3 Operation 2 Note Batteries are not included with microT ALK® 2-way r adio .
S elect any of the 14 channels by pushing the channel up or down buttons. S elect Main Channel (1-14) Tu rn on the microT ALK® 2-W ay Radio. Operation 5 Select Channel Note Units must be on same channel and privacy code to communicate . Note Channels 8-12 generally are less used and give better results for commun- ications in most areas.
