- 23 - 3.5 Hardware Inst allation It is recommended tha t the installatio ns described below are carried out by qualifi ed personnel. 3.5.1 Basic Connections Cameras Connect each of the cameras’ outputs to the video input socket in the rear panel of the DVR using appropriate cables.

- 30 - In order to playback a certain video feed from a particular camera, you first need to indicate what time and which camera you wish to receive this infor mation from. Then click to search the files. After searching, there will be a list of recorded files, double click any item on the list to playback.
- 31 - In the play back view , you can drag an area wi th your mouse then cli ck this area to zoom out. Options for the playback control pan el are described below: : Play/Pause : Rewi nd/Pa use : Sto p : Slow forward. : Fast forward. : Pre-frame (This button will be able when the file is paused).
- 32 - 3. Click “Backup” to enter into backup interface. Click “Erase” to delete data in your USB disk 4. In backup interface, user can s elect device, select recordin g type, chann el and time period which you want to backup, then click “Add” to add files.
- 33 - After searching recorded files; you can choose files ch eck marked “ ” on right panel and click “ ” to enter backup interface. After that click th e ST AR T button, it will begin backup this file. A “Backup” dialog window will appear .
- 34 - Playing backed up vide o on your PC The backup file will be in DA V format and it can be played by special player (This player will be provided in CD disk). 4.2.4 Record Control Press the Rec ord Contr ol button on the shortcut menu, following dialog box will appear to record control.

- 37 - User can set two periods to set hue, b rightness, contrast and sa turation for each channel respectively . 4.2.8 TV Adjustment By pressing the TV Adjust button on the shortcut menu, y ou will bring up the TV Adjust screen. Y ou can move the entire video screen up, down, left and r ight using this option.
- 38 - 4.3 Channel S t atus Display The top right corner of each ch annel i mage features the followin g status icons: This icon indicates that the channel has detected motion in the motion detecti on mode . This icon indicates that the channel is curren tly recording.

- 41 - 5.1.1 Menu Options In order to modify/adjust system configuration, you need to enter the System Menu by pressing the Main Me nu button on the shortcut Menu. Y ou will see th e dialog window with settings for all the systems and options available on your DVR.

- 66 - 5.5.6 Shut Down In this interface, you can log out of system, shut down machine, restart s ystem and switch users: Main Menu>>Advanced >> Shut Down 【 Logout 】 : E xit menu.
- 67 - 5.6.1 HDD Information In this interface, you can get information about HDD : Main menu>>Information >> HDD Infor mation . Hard disk type is list ed here. T otal space, free sp ace, video star t time and status. Note: Please remove the broken hard disk before you add a new one.
- 68 - After system starts, if there is conflict, it will jump to the HDD information page immediately . User can check the system time and HDD tim e, If there is a conflict, enter the normal setup t o modify system time, or enter advanced HDD management to format HDD, then restar t device.

- 78 - 6.6 Record Query Select recorded type, start time, end time, reco rded chan nel, then cli ck “Q uery ” to search file. In the list below (image above), you can select any recording list and click “Play” to playback files or click “Download” to download file.

- 83 - 6.8.3.2 DNS Setting Domain Name Server (DNS). These values depend on y our actual account; please contact your Internet Service Provider for details. User can a primary DNS address and a secondary DNS address. 6.8.3.3 DDNS Setting In order to connect your DVR to the inte rnet, you may choose to use the services of a Dynamic DNS service.
