4 OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS General Parts Drawing ITEM # DESCRIPTION FUNCTION 1. Power Switch Lower position - power to the unit is OFF . Upper position - power to the unit is ON. 2. T emperature Dial Regulates the surface temperature of the pan. 3. Heat Indicator Light T ur ns ON when heating system is on and OFF when system is off.
5 OPERA TING THE UNIT 1. Ensure electrical supply to the unit is in the ON position. 2. T ur n Power Switch ( 1 ) to the ON position. The yel- low Heat Indicator Light ( 3 ) will indicate power is on. 3. MANUAL TIL T ( 4 ) : Cleveland skillets are equipped with a manual tilt mechanism for raising and lowering the pan.
6 CARE AND CLEANING Y our skillet must be cleaned regularly to maintain its fast, efficient cooking performance, and to ensure its continued safe, reliable operation. W ARNING: Do not use chloride base detergents. There is a gr owing number of non-chloride cleaners available.
