P o wer Requirements Y our IL30/IL40 is powered b y a 9V batter y (not included). Install a 9V batter y i n the batter y compar tment prior to operation. NOTE: Insert the battery with the (+) side going between the guard posts in the battery compartment.
Operation V olume Control Y ou can adjust the volume le vel by using the V olume Control Slide located on the top of the unit (left control). Pushing the slide up increases the v olume . T one Control Y ou can adjust the tone by using the T one Control Switch lo- cated on the top of the unit (right control).
T r oub leshooting If after installing your IL40/IL30 Amplifier , you do not ha ve a dial tone or the person y ou called cannot hear you, tak e the f ollowing steps: 1. Check that all connections are plugged in properly 2. Make sure a ne w batter y is installed.
