P age 9 W -1000 • Plug one end of the handset cord (coiled) into the bottom of the handset. • Plug the other end of the handset cord into the jack located on the low er left edge of the W alk er Clarity . • Place the handset in the cradle of the W alker Clarity .

P age 11 W -1000 A lighted ringer w orks in conjunction with the low fr equency ringer . It sends out a visual flashing alert every time a phone call is coming in. (This ringer will light up regar dless of the setting on the ringer volume contr ol.) The Clarity Phone can be used as either a T ONE (touch dial) or PULSE (rotary dial) phone.
W -1000 P age 12 Note for Users with Pulse/Rotar y ser vice only: Many automated answering systems used by banks, stores and go vernment agencies ask you to “Push 1 for ser vice”, “Push 2 for the oper ator”, etc . Y ou must s witc h the tone/pulse switch on the top edge of the phone to tone bef ore responding to these pr ompts.
