This System comes with: • Main Unit - The “brain” of the system. • 2 - T wo Button Remote Transmitters • Status LED - Red illuminated indicator that provides system status information. • Emergency Override Switch - used to override the system in case the Remote T ransmitters become lost or stolen.
This diagram illustrates how the Remote T ransmitter is used in the Convenience Mode: Standard Mode This configuration allows the use of separate buttons for control of the door locking system and the Auxiliary function. Button 1 Locks and Unlocks the system and controls the optional Starter Defeat.
Multi-Car Operation If you want to control multiple systems by a single Remote T ransmitter, an optional 3-Button Remote T ransmitter is available. The 3-Button Remote Transmitter gives you the convenience of operating several vehicles from a single Remote T ransmitter.
Battery Replacement Y our Remote Transmitter uses a 12 volt alkaline battery , which will need to be replaced from time to time. Under normal conditions, the battery should last for up to a year before it needs replacement.

Page 6 - Owner’s Manual Emergency Override In case your Remote T ransmitter becomes inoperable, or it is lost or stolen, you can still enter and drive your car by using the following procedure. Be sure that you have your ignition keys ready and that you know the location of the override switch before you perform this procedure.

Comfort Closure Many late model European vehicles have a feature that closes the windows when the door key is turned to the lock position and held. If your vehicle is equipped with this feature, the Ungo system can be tied into the system to automatically roll up the windows when the system is armed.
