5 Daily Oper ation • Containers with flammable gases or liquids can leak at low temper atures. There is a risk of an explosion! Do not store any container s with flamma- ble materials such as, spray cans, fire extinguisher refill cartridges etc in the refrigerator/freezer .
6 Remove tr ansport packaging The appliance and the interior fittings ar e protected for transport. • Remove all adhesive tape and packing pieces from the interior of the appliance. Disposal of old Appliances For environmental reasons, refriger ation appliances must be disposed of properly .
7 Starting up and temperatur e regulation Wash the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water with a little bicar- bonate of soda added (5ml to 0,5 litre of water). Do not use soap or deter- gent as the smell may linger . Dry the appliance thor oughly .
8 Interior Accessories Storage Shelves The glass shelf above the fruit and vegetable compartment should always remain in position, to ensur e fruit and vegetables stay fr esh longer . The remaining storage shelves can be adjusted to various heights: Pull the storage shelf forwar d until it can be tipped up or down and remo- ved.
