11 4 Set-Up and Oper ation Installing the UPS is as easy as follo wing the steps sho wn. 4.1 Inspection Remove the UP S f rom its pack aging a nd ins pect it for damage that m ay h ave occurred dur ing shipping. If an y damage is discovered, r epack the unit and return it to the place of purchase.
12 4.3 Charging This unit is shipped f rom the factor y with its in ternal batter y fully charged, however , som e power ma y be lost during shipping and the b atter y should be r echarge d pr ior to us e.
13 Use one m ore internet line cable and plug one end of the internet line cab le to the “Out” soc ket at the back of the PROTECT A. UPS. P lug the other end of the m odem input socket as sho wn.
14 After r emoving th e f ront c over, follow F ig. 2 ab ove to rem ove partition b y unscr ewing i t.
