For sy stems with a power switch, line voltages are present within the power sup ply even when the power switch is off and the power cord is connected.

The Cisco 3825 rout ers contain three fans, which are connected together as one unit.

Note The fan unit upgrade pro cedure will take approximately one hour .

Step 6 Slide the co ver to ward the front of the chassis (about 1 inch [25 mm]), as sho wn in Figure 2 .
