5 Cisco 12006 and Cisco 12406 Router Unpacking and Repacking Instructions 78-16104-02 Unpacking the Router Step 1 Use wire cutters to cut the plastic bands that secure the router to t he pallet. Step 2 Remov e the tape that seals the shipping contai ner and open the top of the box.

If you are i nstalling the enh anced v ersion of the 124 04 Internet rou ter , go to Step 6 .
