Before pow ering on the unit, make sure the line voltage to which you ar e connecting it is within the range of accep ted voltages. Also make sure that the fixture s you are plugging into the DMX-4 LED match the input vo ltage.

Rigging Be sure that the structure can support the we ight of the fixtur e. Please see the “Technical Specification s” section of this manual for a detailed w eight listing.
3. Setup 8 12/10/2010 5:16 PM Rigging The DMX-4 LED ships ready to mount a standard clamp directly to the mounting br acket. Howeve r, if you are using this pr oduct with truss or a lighting stand , then there is an alternate rigging configura tion available.

5. Appendix 12 12/10/2010 5:16 PM DMX Primer There are 512 chan nels in a DMX connection. A fix ture capable o f receiving DMX will require one or a number of sequential channe ls. The user must assign a starting ad dress on the fix ture that indicates the firs t channel re served in the con troller.

Do not allow co ntact between th e common and the f ixture’s cha ssis ground . Grounding the common can cause a grou nd loop, and your fixture may perform errat ically .
