4 Make sure your jogging stroller fits properly . The maximum c apacity of a Chariot jogging stroller is 30 kg (65 lbs ) including child and luggage or other supplies. The child’ s head, including an y helmet, should not project abo ve the sunshade assembly (Fig.
5 Make sure your jogging stroller is in pr oper w orking condition. Spend a fe w moments befor e each walk to check y our jogging str oller’s sy stems against the following checklist: Check that your wheels are straight.

8 USE S AFEL Y DURING EVER Y USE W ear a helmet. An unprotect ed head is highly susceptible to injury , e ven from the slighte st contact. Children in a stroller should wear a helmet that is comf ortable, fits properly , and meets CPSC or CE safet y tes ting standards.

THREE Inspection, Adjustment & Lubrication BRAKE S Y STEM Introduction The br ake sy stem allows y ou to control the speed of your jogging stroller , but is primarily used as a parking brak e when desired to prev ent the jogging stroller from moving.
Lubrication E very 3 months, lubricate your br ake lever piv ots and br ake arm fixing pivots with a light oil. See y our Chariot dealer for a rec ommended oil. Lubricat e br ake cables with a thin layer of synthetic gr ease or a similar lubricant when installed.
WHEELS THREE Inspection, Adjustment & Lubrication Introduction The wheels allo w your jogging stroller to roll down the r oad smoothly so the integrit y of y our jogging str oller wheels is crucial. Their structur al soundness and their relationship to the performanc e of your br ake are of great importance .
