2 1 ASSEMBL Y Page 8 2 1 FIRST , GET A HELPER! This unit is heavy and requires a second person for lifting, moving and helping to hold components in place while securing them. NEXT , pick a suitable location to work. Open the carton and slit the corners so that the carton lays flat.
Page 9 3 4 With aid of a helper , turn the Cart Assembly over and allow it to rest on the Upper Leg Supports. Insert a Cotter Pin into one end of the Axle Rod . Then slip an Axle W asher onto the Axle Rod , Followed by one of the Wheels . Next, insert the Axle Rod through both RH leg T ubes.
5 6 Carefully place the Firebox onto the Upper Leg Supports . The Air Damper hole should be positioned on your RH side. While a helper holds the Firebox in position, secure the Firebox to the Upper Leg Supports with 4 each 1/4-20X1 3/4" Machine Screws and 4 each 1/4-20 Flange nuts.
7 8 Attach the Side Shelf using 4 each 1/4-20x1" Machine Screws . Securely tighten the Side Shelf to the Firebox. Page 1 1 Install the Firebox Damper Wheel by inserting 1 each 1/4-20x3/4" Machine Screw into the screw hole.
9 10 Page 12 With the assistance of a helper , position the Grill Lid onto the Firebox, aligning the corresponding hinge holes. Insert a Hinge Pin through the holes on each side. Secure the Hinge Pins with Cotter Pins . ? Assemble the Grill Lid Damper Wheel in the same manner as the Firebox Damper Wheel.
12 1 1 Page 13 Insert the Charcoal Grate into the firebox as shown below . The Charcoal Grate Hanger will rest on the hanger tabs on the firebox. Place the Cooking Grates into the Firebox. Y our grill is now completely assembled. Please refer to page 3 for instructions on how to prepare and season your grill prior to cooking .
