5 This machine is a commercial v acuum designed f or wet and dr y pic k-up. Dr y soil can be v acuumed directly into the tank. T o empty the tank of dr y soil, remo v e the top and dump into trash receptacle. F or wet pick-up , remov e polyester filter .
6 (Every six to twelve months): 1. Check filter f or wear , replace dir t saturated filters that do not respond to nor mal cleaning. 2. Inspect gasket seals and replace those which hav e begun to leak. 3. Examine carbon motor br ushes and commutator .
7 CARBON BRUSH REPLA CEMENT 1. Disconnect pow er cord from power source . 2. T o access the vac motor , remove the screws that attach the main co ver to the head assembly and set the co ver to one side. 3. Remove the motor co ver b y removing two screws .
