2 GAS HOOK -UP’S AND W ARNINGS (LP) LIQUID PETROLEUM GAS • LP gas is nontoxic, odorless and colorless when produced . For Y our Safety , LP gas has been given an odor (similar to rotten cabbage) so that it can be smelled. • LP gas is highly ammable and may ignite unexpectedly when mixed with air .

4 LP C ylinder Leak T est For Y our S afety A TTENTION: Leak T est must be repeated each time the LP cylinder is exchanged or relled. • Do not smoke during leak test.
5 1. T urn all grill con trol knobs to OFF . 2. Ensure that the regulat or is tightly connected to LP cylinder. 3. Completely open LP cylinder valve by turning hand wheel counterclockwise. If you hear a rushing sound , turn gas o immediately . There is a leak at the connection.

9 Grilling T ips • Create an impr oved, non-stick cooking sur face by coating all cooking grates with vegetable shortening or cook ing oil before pr eheating.
