4 Oper ating Instructions 1 Safety Prior to using for the first time • Follow the ”Instructions for install ation an d connect ion” . Corr ect use • The dishwasher is only intended for washing domestic dishes. • Additions or modifications to the dishwasher ar e not permitted.

6 The Pr og r amme buttons are used to select the desired dishwashing cy- cle. Function buttons : In addition to the pr e-set dishwashing cycle, the following functions can also be set using these buttons: The rinse aid inflow is only affected , if the 3in1 function is selected.
7 The contr o l indicators have the following meanings: Prior to using for the first time 3 If you wish to use 3 in 1 detergent: – F i rs t re a d th e s ec t i o n “ U s i n g 3 i n 1 d et e rg e n ts ” . – Do not fill up with special salt or rinse aid.
8 Setting electr onically: 1. Pr ess the ON/OFF button. 3 If the only LED indicator il lumina ted is one that belongs to a pro- gr amme button, this means that this dishwashing cycle has been acti- vated. The dishwashing cycle must be deselected: Pr ess function buttons 2 and 3 simultaneously for approx.
9 Adding special salt T o decalcify the water softener , it mu st be fill ed up with special salt. Use only special salt suitable for domestic d ishwasher s. If you do not use 3 in1 detergent, fill up with special salt: – Befor e using the dishwasher for the fir st time.
10 Filling up with rinse aid With rinse aid the rinsing water drains away better and so you get smear-fr ee, gleaming di shes and clear glasses. If you do not use 3in1 detergent, fil l up with rinse aid: – Befor e using the dishwasher for the fir st time.
11 Setting the amount of rinse aid r equired 3 Only change the amount dispensed, if smears, milky spots (reduce the amount) or dried on water spots (inc rease the amount) can be seen on glasses and dishes. (See section “If di shwashing results ar e not satisfac- tory” .
12 Activating ri nse aid inflow when 3in1 function is se- lected 3 If the 3in1 function is not selected, the rinse aid inflow is always acti- vated. If the 3in1 function is selected du e to the use of 3in1 detergent, the rinse aid inflow is deacti vated.
13 In daily use Loading cutlery and dishes 1 Sponges, cleaning cloths and any ot her objects th at can absorb water must not be washed in the dishwash er . Plastic and T eflon-coated dishes and pans tend to r etain water droplet s. These dishes an d pans therefor e do not dry as well as those made of china and s tainless steel.
14 Loading cutlery 1 Wa r n i n g : Sharp knives and other items of cutlery with sharp edges must be laid in the cutlery r ack or in the upper basket to avoid the risk of injury .
15 Po t s , Pa n s, L a rge P l a te s Load lar ger and heavily soiled dishes and pans in the lower basket. (Max. diameter for plates 29 cm). T o make it easier to load larger dish- es, the two plate rests on the right in the lower basket can be folded down.
16 • The cup r acks can be folded up out of the way for tall c roc kery items. • Lay or hang wine an d brandy glasses in the slots in the cup ra c k s . • For glasses with long stems, fold the glass r ack to the right, other- wise fold it away to the left.
17 Adjusting the height of the upper basket 3 The height of the baskets can also be adjusted when they are loaded. Raising / Lowering the upper bas- ket 1. Pull out the upper basket complete- ly . 2. Holding the upper basket by the handle, r aise it as far as it will go and then lower it vertic ally .
18 Adding deter gent D e t e rg e n t s re m o v e t he d i r t fro m dishes and cutlery . The detergent must be added befor e the cycle starts. 1 Only use deter gent intended for do- mestic dishwashers. The deter gent compartment is lo- cated on the inside of the door .
19 Concentr ated detergents T oday’s deter gents for dishwashers ar e almost exclusively low-alkaline concentr ated detergents with natu r al enzymes in tablet or powder form.
20 Using 3in1 deter gents These pr oducts are deter gents with a combined cleaning, rinsing and salt function. When the 3in1 functi on is activated, – the addition of special salt and rins e aid fr om the respective dispenser is pr evented. – If the salt and rinse aid dispensers ar e empty , this is not indicated.

22 Selecting a pr ogramme When your dishes look like this, select: an intensive pr ogr amme. a normal or energy-saving pr o- gr amme. a short progr amme (e.
23 Starting a dishwashing cycle 1. Check that the spray arms can turn fr eely . 2. T u rn the water tap on fully . 3. Close the door . 4. Pr ess the ON/OFF button. 5. Select the desir ed cycle. The pr ogramme indicator comes on. The r emaining time expected for the cycle will be shown in the mult i-display .
24 Setting the Delay Timer 3 With the dela y timer you ca n delay the start of a dishwa shing cycle for between 1 and 19 hours. 1. Pr ess the Delay Timer button repeat edly until the mu lti-disp lay shows the desir ed time delay , for example 12h , if the cycle is to start in 12 hour s.
25 Car e and cleaning 1 Do not use f urniture car e produ cts or aggr essive cleaners. • When necessary , clean the dishwasher ’s contr ols with a soft cloth and clean warm water . • Occasionally check the internal di spenser s, door seal and water inlet filter (if fitted) for dirt and clean them, if necessary .
26 5. Remove the flat filter (3) fr om the base of the washing compartment and clean both surfaces thor oughly . 6. Re-insert the flat filter . 7. Place the fine filter in the micro-fil- ter and fi t the two together . 8. Insert the filter system in place and lock it by turning the handle clock- wise as far as it will go.
27 3. Place cleaned upper basket spra y arm back in position against the connect- ing piece: pr ess the two together firmly , until you feel them snap into place. Bottom spra y arm 1. T o remove bottom spr ay arm, pull it upwards out of its catch. 2. Clean spray arm jets.
28 What to do if... Remedying small malfunctions If one of the following fault codes is displayed in the multi-display dur- ing oper ation: – Fault code Å1 0 (Pr oblems with water inlet), – Fault code Å2 0 (Pr oblems with water drainage), please have a look at the following table.
29 Fa u l t c o d e Å3 0 is dis- played in th e multi-dis- play . The anti-flood system has been trigge red. First shut off the wate r tap, then switch off the a ppli- ance and c ontact the C us- tomer Care Department. The cycle is not sta rting. The mains plu g is not plugged in.
30 If the dishwashing r esults are not satisfactory The dishes are still dirty . • The wr ong dishwashing cycle was selected. • The dishes wer e loaded is such a way that the dishwashing water did not r each all items. The baskets for the dishes must not be overload- ed.
31 Disposal 2 P ackaging material The packaging materials ar e envir onmentally friendly and can be recy- cled. The plastic components ar e id entified by markings, e.g. >PE<, >PS<, etc. Please dispose of the pa ckaging materials in the appropriate container at the community waste disposal facilities.

35 Installation and connection instructions 1 Safety information for the installation • Only tr ansport the dishwasher in an upright position, otherwise salt water may run out. • Befor e using the dishwasher for the fir st time, check for any damage caused in transport.
36 Installing the dishwasher • The dishwasher must be installed on a firm floor and adjusted to en- sur e that it is stable and level in all directions. • T o compensate for unevenness in the floor and to match the height of the appliance to that of sur- r ounding units, extend the thread- ed feet using a screwdriver .
37 Fr ee-standing appliances 1 If the dishwasher is installed dir ect ly next to a cooker , a heat-insulat- ing, non-flammable panel (laminated with aluminium foil on the side next to the cooker) must be fitted flush with the top edge of the work surface (depth 57.
38 Connecting the dishwasher Connecting to the water supply • The dishwasher can be connected to cold and hot water supplies up to max. 60°C. • The dishwasher must not be connect ed to open hot water appliances or instantaneous water heater s.
39 W ater drainage Drain hose 1 The dr ain hose mu st not be kinked, crushed or entangled. Connecting the dr ain hose: – Maximum permitted height: 1 metre.
