2 Important Read the user instructions car efully befor e using the oven for the fir st time. Clean the oven r egularly. Remove spills as soon as they oc cur . Always use ov en gloves when removing shelv es and trays fr om the ovens. Do not allow childr en near the oven when in use.

5 Fitting Out Y our Appliance 1 . Side rac ks (E on fig. 4) The side rac ks allow five differ ent cooking heights for the drip tra y and shelf. When cooking using the grill functions and r otisserie, use the drip tra y or shelf at height 5 to collect the juices fr om the food.
6 Gener al Settings and Use Clock T o set the clock when the time and the clock indicator ar e flashing (for example, when the ov en is first switc hed on) touch or until the corr ect time shows on the display , then touch to c onfirm the selection.
7 Gener al Settings and Use T o progr amme the ov en T urn the function control knob to the r equired pr ogramme. The display will flash the temper ature pr eset for the pr ogramme (as detailed on page 8) and st art cooking immediately.
8 Gener al Settings and Use Oven functions Each of the oven functions uses diff erent elements within the ov en to offer you the best c hoice of cooking every time. The cooking functions ar e explained below . The pyr olytic functions are explained on page xxx.
9 Gener al Settings and Use 7 . Full Grill – pr eset 275˚ (r ange available 1 80-275˚) The grill function radiates the heat fr om the grill element.
10 Pyr olysis Pr ogr ammes This oven can clean itself by a pr ocess known as pyrolysis, heating the ca vity to a temper ature of 500˚C. This will burn off the residue fr om spattering and spillages caused by c ooking. Pyrolytic pr ogrammes should be used when the ov en smokes during preheating or c ooking or if the oven smells even when cold.
Cleaning and Maintenanc e IMPOR T ANT : Alwa ys disconnect the applianc e from the po wer supply bef ore undertaking an y cleaning or maintenance. Y ou should alwa ys allow the o ven to c ool fully after use befor e undertaking any cleaning or maint enance.
Changing the Ov en Lamp Befor e any maintenanc e is started inv olving electrical parts, the ov en must be disconnected fr om the pow er supply . If the ov en has been in use, let the ov en ca vity and the heating elements cool down bef ore at tempting any maintenance.
Car e and Maintenanc e Cleaning the interior o f the door Open the door completely and insert tw o of the red stopper s supplied with the oven, as shown in figur e 1 0. Then insert the other two r ed stoppers in the A slots, as shown in figure 1 1 .
Car e and Maintenanc e Clean the panes of glass using a soft sponge and washing up liquid. Do not soak the glass in water . Do note use abrasiv e cleaning products, metallic scr apers or scouring sponges. These could scuff the surface and cause the glass to shatter .
T r oubleshooting If the oven is not functioning corr ectly , check the advice below prior to calling CD A Customer Car e. The oven display will show err or codes if ther e is a fault with the appliance.
Installation Important If the oven is being installed into a built under ov en housing unit ensure that the fr ont rail at the top of the unit is not installed as it could r estrict ventilation. Ensure that air can flow fr eely ar ound the housing area.
