7 F an Oven T echnical Fea tures The oven is furnished complet ely clean. It is advisable however , upon rst use, t o turn the oven on to the maximum temperature t o eliminate possible traces of grease fr om the oven burner . The same operation shall be done with the gas grill.
8 How to U se the Oven IMPORT ANT NOTES: − Do not use the appliance in case of power failur e or if the cooling fan motor is damaged. The appliance may o verheat and get damaged due to the non-operation of the cooling fan motor .
9 Lighting of Oven Burner IMPORT ANT: The oven door must be open during this opera tion. T o ignite the oven burner: 1 Fully open the o ven door . If this operation is not performed you should not proceed to ligh t the oven.
10 Lighting of Gas Grill Burner IMPORT ANT: The oven door must be open during this opera tion. T o light the burner , you need to: 1 Fully open the o ven door .
11 Cooking W ith Gas O ven Before intr oducing the food, preheat the ov en to the desired temperature . For a c orrect preheating operation, it is advisable to remov e the tray from the oven and intr oduce it together with the food, when the ov en has reached the desired temperature .
12 T raditional Grilling W arning: T he grill burner must be used with the door ajar only. Leav e to warm up for approximately 5 minut es with the door ajar . Place the food inside positioning the rack as near as possible t o the grill. Inser t the drip pan under the rack to collect the cooking juices.

The knob (Fig. 10) must be r otated clockwise as far as the 60 minute position and then set to the required time by r otating it anticlockwise.
15 Care and Main tenance It is advisable to clean when the appliance is cold and especially for cleaning the enamelled parts. Avoid lea ving alk aline or acidic substances (lemon juice , vinegar, et c.) on the surfaces. Avoid using cleaning pr oducts with a chlorine or acidic base.
16 Replacing the Oven Lamp W ARNING: Ensure the appliance is switched o befor e replacing the lamp to av oid the possibility of elec tric shock. − Let the oven ca vity and the heating elements to cool down. − Switch o the electrical supply .

18 Retting the Oven Door − Hold the door rmly (g. 21). − Inser t the hinge tongues into the slots , making sure that the groov e drops into place as shown in the g. 22. − Open the door to its full extent. − F ully close the levers “ A ” on the left and right hinges, as shown in the gure g .
19 Removing the Inner Pane of Glass The oven door is tted with no . 2 panes: − no. 1 outside; − no. 1 inner . T o clean all panes on both sides it is necessar y to remove the inner pane as f ollows: 1. Lock the door open: − Open the door to the full extent (fig.
20 After Cleaning, Replac e the Inner Glass Pane When replacing the inner glass pane, make sur e that: − Y ou replace the pane correctly , as shown. T he pane must be in the position described below in order to t into the door and t o ensure that the oven operat es safely and correctly.
21 Do ’ s and do not ’ s − Do always grill with the ov en door ajar . − Do read the user instructions carefully before using the o ven for rst time. − Do allow the oven to heat f or about two hours, before using f or the rst time, in order to expel any smell from the new oven insulation, without the in troduction of food.
22 Advic e for the Installer Appliance installation and maint enance must only be carried out by QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS and in compliance with the local safety standards .
23 Impor tant Ensure that air can ow freely around the housing area. F ailure to allow adequate ventilation to the appliance ma y result in over hea ting or damage to adjacent units. Lift the oven carefully into position on the shelf , tak ing care NOT to lift it by the door handle .
24 Fixing the Ov en Introduce the oven int o the furniture opening and x it with 4 screws (not supplied) as gure 33. It is essential that the oven rests on a surface which will support its weight, as the screw xing is only complementary.
25 Pro vision for V entilation – The appliance should be installed into a room or space with an air supply in accordanc e with BS 5440- 2: 2000. – F or rooms with a volume of less than 5m 3 - permanent ventilation of 100cm 2 free area will be requir ed.
26 Gas Installation Important Note This appliance is supplied for use on NA TURAL GAS or LPG (check the gas regulation label attached on the appliance). – Appliances supplied for use on NA TURAL GAS: they are adjusted f or this gas only and cannot be used on any other gas (LPG) without modication.
27 Gas Connection The installation of the gas appliance to Natur al Gas or LP G as must be carried out by a suitably qualied and register ed installer.
28 OK Interpose the supplied gasket. Important ! Use two wrenches t o tighten the connection. L OCK L OCK Arrow Important ! Use two wrenches to tighten the connection. Note: take care not to o vertighten the conical adaptor , as doing so may crack the test point adaptor .
29 Maintenance and Con version t o Natural Gas or to LPG IMPORT ANT: All intervention r egarding installation maintenance and c onversion of the appliance must be fullled with original factor y parts. The manufacturer declines any liability resulting fr om the non- compliance of this obliga tion.
30 Operations to Be Ex ecuted for the Replacement of the Injectors of the Oven and Grill Burners Some models are provided with a set of injectors for the various types of gas. If the injectors are not supplied they can be obtained from the “Ser vice Cen tre” .
