5 Clock and T imer with “T ouch-C ontrol” K eys (Bot tom Main Oven only) K eys: + and – T ouched simultaneously (f or more than 2 seconds): • setting the clock; • setting the timer volume (by touching once, along with the “ MODE ” key); • to cancel automatic c ooking at any time.
6 “T ouch-C ontrol” K eys The “touch-c ontrol” keys shall be oper ated by the fingers (just by touc hing the key). When using touch contr ols it is best to use the ball of your finger rather than the tip.
7 Aut omatic Cooking Use automatic cooking to aut omatically turn the oven on, cook, and then turn the oven off. 1 . Check the clock shows the c orrect time. 2. Select the function and temperatur e (function and temperatur e knobs). The oven will come on.
8 How t o Use the Hob Burners Hob Burners Each hob burner is contr olled by a separate gas valve operated by a control knob (fig. 4) which has 3 positions marked on the contr ol panel, these are: – .
9 Choice o f Burner The burner must be choosen accor ding to the diameter of the pans and energy requir ed. Saucepans with handles which are excessiv ely heavy , in relationship to the weight of the pan, are safer as they ar e less likely to tip. P ans which ar e positioned centrally on burner s are mor e stable than those which ar e offset.
1 0 How t o Use the Fan Ov en (Bo ttom Main Ov en) Gener al Featur es Fan cooking is mor e economical and quick er than c ooking in a conventional oven. The moving hot air surrounds the f ood and penetrat es it mor e quic kly than in a conventional ov en.
1 1 Switc h and the T emperatur e Selector Rotat e the knob clockwise to set the oven f or one of the following functions: Off as per fig. 9 Only the oven fan is on. The fan operates without the heating element, this function can be used for defrosting.
1 2 Cooking A dvice St erilization Sterilization of f oods to be conserved, in full and hermetically sealed jar s, is done in the following way: a - Set the selector knob to position 1 85 °C and preheat the oven. b - Fill the dripping pan with hot water .
1 3 How t o Use the Con vection Ov en (T op Ov en) Gener al Featur es The convection ov en is equipped with 3 electrical heating elements: – 2 elements (upper and lower) f or normal oven cooking – 1 grill element, on the top of the oven, for grilling which must be done with the oven door closed.
1 4 Thermostat Knob (fig. 1 1) This only sets the cooking temperatur e and does not switch the oven on. Rotat e clockwise until the requir ed temperatur e is reac hed (from 50° C to MAX).
1 5 Lo wer Heating element In this position only the lower element is switc hed on. Heat is distributed by natural convection. The thermostat can be set between 50 and 1 50°C; higher temper atures ar e not available. Recommended f or: This mode is particularly suitable to complete c ooking of dishes that r equire higher temperatur e at the bottom.
1 6 Do’s and do not’s – Do always grill with the ov en door closed. – Do read the user instructions car efully befor e using the cooker for fir st time. – Do allow the oven to heat for one and a half hours, bef ore using for the first time, in order to expel any smell from the new ov en insulation, without the introduction of food.
1 7 For Y our Safety – The product should only be used for its intended purpose which is for the cooking of domestic foodstuffs. – Under no cir cumstances should any external covers be removed for servicing or maint enance except by suitably qualified personnel.
1 8 Car e and Maintenance Important: As a safety measur e, befor e you start cleaning the cooker be sur e to disconnect it fr om the mains supply. - Do not use cleaning pr oducts with a chlorine or acidic base. - Do not use a steam cleaner because the moisture can get into the appliance thus make it unsafe.
1 9 St ainless Steel, Aluminium, P ainted Parts and Silk -screen Print ed Surfaces Clean using an appropriat e product. Alwa ys dry thoroughly. Stainless st eel surfaces: can be cleaned with an appropriate st ainless steel cleaner . IMPOR T ANT : these parts must be cleaned very car efully t o a void scratching and abrasion.
20 F C Fig. 1 3 Fig. 1 2 Burners and Grids – These parts can be remov ed and cleaned with appropriate pr oducts. – After cleaning, the burners and their flame spr eaders must be w ell dried and correctly r eplaced. – It is v ery important to check that the burner flame spreader and the cap hav e been corr ectly positioned.
2 1 Corr ect P osition of T riple Ring Burner The triple ring burner must be correctly positioned (see fig. 1 4); the burner ribs must be fitted in their housing as shown by the arrow . The burner corr ectly positioned must not rotate (fig. 1 5). Then position the cap “ A “ and the ring “ B “ (figs.
22 Assembling and Dismantling of the Side R unner Fr ames – Assemble the wire r acks to the oven w alls using the 2 screws (Figs. 1 7a - 1 7b). – Slide the tray and rack into the runner s (Figs. 1 8a - 1 8b). The r ack must be fitted so that the safety cat ch, which stops it sliding out, fac es the inside of the oven.
23 Inside of Ov en The oven should alwa ys be cleaned after use when it has cooled down. The cavity should be cleaned using a mild detergent solution and warm w ater . Suit able pr oprietary chemical cleaners may be used aft er first consulting with the manufacturers rec ommendations and testing a small sample of the oven ca vity.
24 T op Oven Door Remo ving the Oven Door The oven door can easily be r emoved as follows: – Open the door to the full extent (fig. 20a). – Open the lever A complet ely on the left and right hinges (fig. 20b). – Hold the door as shown in fig. 20.
25 Cleaning the Panes o f Glass Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scraper s to clean the oven door glass since they scratch the surface, which may r esult in shattering of the glass. Remo ving the Inner Pane of Glass The oven door has tw o panes.
26 Replacing the Inner P ane of Glass 1 . Make sure the door is loc ked open (see figs. 2 1 , 22, 23). 2. Replace the inner pane: – Check that the f our rubber pads are in place ( D in Fig. 25). – Check that you are holding the pane the correct way .
2 7 Bot tom Ov en Door Not e: The oven door should only be r emoved by an authorised service agent. Removal of the oven door by a non-authorised person will invalidate the guar antee. Remo ving the Inner Pane of Glass When remo ving and replacing the inner glass, the door should be held still by one person (fig.
28 Replacing the Inner P ane of Glass T o replac e the inner pane of the door operate as follow s: – Check that the f our rubber pads are in place ( D in Fig. 3 1). – Check that you ar e holding the pane the correct wa y. Y ou should be able to r ead the wording on it as it fac es you.
29 FOR THE INS T ALLER Location This cooker has class “2/1” ov erheating pro tection so that it can be installed next to a cabinet. The appliance may be inst alled in a kitchen, Kitc hen/diner or a bed sitting r oom, but not in a room or space containing a bath or a show er .
30 If the cooker is installed adjac ent to furniture which is higher than the gas hob c ooktop, a gap of at least 200 mm must be left between the side of the cook er and the furniture. Curtains must not be fitted immediatly behind applianc e or within 500 mm of the sides.
3 1 Befor e installing the cooker level the appliance by screwing or unscr ewing the f our adjustable feet fit ted below . W ARNING! For saf ety reasons unscr ew the feet (from scr ewed position) to the maximum ext ent of 5 mm (fig. 35). Backguar d – Remove the tw o spacers “ A ” and the scr ew “ B ” from the r ear of the cooktop.

33 Pr ovision f or V entilation – The appliance should be installed int o a r oom or space with an air supply in accordanc e with BS 5440-2: 2000. – For r ooms with a volume of less than 5m 3 - permanent ventilation of 1 00cm 2 free ar ea will be requir ed.
34 Gas Installation Important No te This appliance is supplied for use on NA TURAL GAS or LPG (check the gas r egulation label att ached on the appliance). – Appliances supplied f or use on NA TURAL GAS: they ar e adjusted f or this gas only and cannot be used on any other gas (LPG) without modification.
35 Gas Connection The installation of the gas appliance to Natur al Gas or LP Gas must be carried out by a suitably qualified and r egistered installer .
36 Gas Connection Cat: II 2H3+ The gas supply must be connected to the gas inlet whic h is located at the rear of the applianc e (see figure 4 1). If the connection pipe cr oss the cooker , it must be positioned under the cooker r ear protection. T o screw the c onnecting tube operate with two spanner s (fig.
