5 Electr onic Pr ogr ammer (Main Oven Only) The electronic pr ogr ammer is a device that gr oups together the following functions: – 24 hour clock with illuminated displa y – Timer (up to 23 hour s and 59 minutes) – Progr amme for automatic ov en cooking – Progr amme for semi-automatic ov en cooking.
6 Electr onic Clock (fig. 4) The programmer is equipped with an electr onic clock with illuminated numbers which indicates hours and minutes. Upon immediate connection of the oven or after a pow er cut, three zer os will flash on the progr ammer display .
7 Aut omatic Ov en Cooking T o c ook food automatically in the oven, it is nec essary to: 1 . Set the length of the cooking time 2. Set the end of the cooking time 3. Set the temperatur e and the oven c ooking progr am. These operations ar e done in the following w ay: 1 .
8 Semi - Aut omatic Cooking This is used to switc h the oven off automatically aft er the desired c ooking time has elapsed. There ar e tw o ways t o set the semi-automatic cooking function: 1 . Set the length of time you need to cook the food by pushing the button and the button to advance, or to go backwar ds (Fig.
9 How t o Use the Hob Burner s Hob Burners Each hob burner is controlled by a separate gas valve oper ated by a control knob (fig. 1 1) which has 3 positions marked on the contr ol panel, these are: .
10 Choice o f Burner The burner must be choosen accor ding to the diameter of the pans and energy requir ed. Saucepans with handles which are excessiv ely heavy , in relationship to the weight of the pan, are safer as they ar e less likely t o tip. Pans whic h are positioned centrally on burner s ar e more st able than those which ar e offset.
11 How t o Use the Multifunction Main Ov en Gener al Featur es As its name indicates, this is an oven that pr esents particular f eatur es fr om an operational point of view . In fact, it is possible to insert 7 differ ent programmes to satisfy ev ery cooking need.
12 Function Select or knob (fig. 1 6) Rotat e the knob clockwise to set the ov en for one of the f ollowing functions. Ov en Light By setting the knob to this position, only the oven light c omes on. It remains on in all the c ooking modes. T r aditional C onv ection Cooking The upper and lower heating elements come on.
13 Grilling The infrar ed grill element comes on. The heat is disper sed by radiation. Use with the ov en door closed and the thermostat knob to position 225°C for max 1 5 minutes, then to position 1 75°C. For cooking hints, see the c hapter “USE OF THE GRILL ”.
14 V entilated Grill C ooking The infr ared grill element and the fan come on. The heat is dispersed mainly by r adiation and the fan then distributes it all over the oven. Use with the door closed. The temper ature can be regulated via the thermostat knob to between 50° and 1 75° max.
15 Cooking A dvice St erilization Sterilization of f oods to be conserv ed, in full and hermetically sealed jars, is done in the f ollowing way: a. Set the switch t o position . b. Set the thermostat knob to position 1 85 °C and preheat the oven. c. Fill the dripping pan with hot water .
16 Roasting T o obt ain classical roasting, it is necessary to r emember: – that it is advisable to maintain a temper atur e between 1 80° and 200 °C. – that the cooking time depends on the quantity and the type of foods. Use of the Grill – Preheat the ov en for about 5 minutes.

19 Use of the Grill Switch the grill on, set ting the two knobs: – Function selector t o or position. – Thermostat selector to position 225°C f or 1 5 minutes then to 1 75°C . Lea ve to warm up f or appr oximately 5 minutes with the door closed .
20 Do’s and do not’s – Do always grill with the ov en door closed. – Do read the user instructions car efully bef ore using the c ooker for fir st time. – Do allow the oven to heat for one and a half hours, before using for the fir st time, in or der to expel any smell from the new ov en insulation, without the introduction of f ood.
21 For Y our Safety – The product should only be used for its intended purpose whic h is for the cooking of domestic foodstuffs. – Under no circumstances should any external cov ers be r emoved for servicing or maintenance exc ept by suitably qualified personnel.
22 Car e and Maintenanc e Important: As a safety measur e, befor e you st art cleaning the cooker be sur e to disconnect it fr om the mains supply. Do not use cleaning pr oducts with a chlorine or acidic base. Do not use a steam cleaner because the moisture can get int o the applianc e thus make it unsafe.
23 St ainless St eel, Aluminium, Paint ed Parts and Silk -Screen Print ed Surfaces Clean using an appropriat e product. Alw ays dry thor oughly. Stainless st eel surfaces: can be cleaned with an appr opriate stainless steel cleaner . IMPOR T ANT : these parts must be cleaned v ery car efully to a void scratc hing and abrasion.
24 F C Fig. 2 1 Fig. 20 Burners and Grids – These parts can be remov ed and cleaned with appropriat e products. – After cleaning, the burners and their flame spr eader s must be well dried and corr ectly r eplaced. – It is very important to chec k that the burner flame spr eader and the cap ha ve been corr ectly positioned.
25 Corr ect P osition o f T riple Ring Burner The triple ring burner must be corr ectly positioned (see fig. 22); the burner ribs must be fitted in their housing as shown by the arrow . The burner corr ectly positioned must not rot ate (fig. 23). Then position the cap “ A “ and the ring “ B “ (figs.
26 Remo v al of the Inner Glass Door P anel – The inner glass door panel can easily be removed f or cleaning by unscrewing the f our scr ews (fig. 25). – When re-assembly ensure that the inner glass is correctly positioned and do not over tighten the screw s.
27 Inside of Ov en The oven should alwa ys be cleaned after use when it has cooled down. The cavity should be cleaned using a mild detergent solution and warm water . Suitable proprietary chemical cleaners ma y be used after first consulting with the manufactur ers r ecommendations and testing a small sample of the oven cavity.
28 Remo ving the Ov en Door Please operate as f ollows: – Open the door completely. – The swivel r etainers of the rh and lh hinges (fig. 29a) are hooked onto the metal bar abov e them (fig. 29b). – Lift the oven door slightly. The noch on the bottom of the hinge will disengage (fig.
29 FOR THE INS T ALLER Location The appliance may be installed in a kitc hen, Kitchen/diner or a bed sitting room, but not in a r oom or space containing a bath or a show er . The appliance must not be installed in a bed-sitting r oom of less than 20m 3 .
30 Fitting the A djustable F eet – The adjustable feet must be fit ted to the base of the cook er befor e use. – Rest the r ear of the cooker an a piece of the polystyrene packaging exposing the base for the fitting of the feet. – Fit the 4 legs by screwing them tight int o the support base as shown in picture 32.
31 W arning T o move the cook er always ensur e two people carry out this manoeuvre t o prev ent damage to the appliance (fig. 34). W arning Be carefull: do not lift the cooker by the door handle (fig. 35). W arning When moving cooker to its final position DO NO T DRAG (fig.

33 Pr ovision f or V entilation – The appliance should be installed int o a r oom or space with an air supply in accor dance with BS 5440-2: 2000. – For r ooms with a volume of less than 5m 3 - permanent ventilation of 1 00cm 2 free ar ea will be r equired.
34 Gas Installation Important Not e This appliance is supplied for use on NA TURAL GAS or LPG (check the gas regulation label attac hed on the appliance). – Appliances supplied f or use on NA TURAL GAS: they ar e adjusted for this gas only and cannot be used on any other gas (LPG) without modification.
35 Gas Connection The installation of the gas appliance to Natural Gas or LP Gas must be carried out by a suitably qualified and r egister ed installer .
