7 Holiday Mode This appliance is equipped with a holiday mode function, which will switch the fridge o and leave the freezer running. This maintains frozen food during a holiday , without running the fridge as well.
8 Quick Freeze Function The quick freeze function can be used to freeze large quantities of fresh food as quickly as possible. This function can be set for a specific duration before automatically switching o for your convenience.
9 T o switch the quick freeze function o • T ouch the “OPTION” button several times, until the quick freeze light “ ” flashes. • Within five seconds of the quick freeze light “ ” starting to flash, touch the “ENTER” key to switch the quick freeze function o .
10 Door Open Alarm This appliance is equipped with an alarm to alert you if a door is left open. In the event that a door is left open for more than appro x. two minutes the appliance will start beeping and the “ ALARM” light will illuminate; this continues until all doors are properly shut.
11 Defrosting the Fridge The fridge is self-defrosting. Any water created will run out of the fridge through the channel at the back of the fridge. It is important to keep the channel clear at all times. The defrosted water is collected in the evaporating tray at the back of the appliance.
12 Care and Cleaning Always disconnect the appliance from the power before any cleaning or maintenance. • The refrigerator and freezer sections should be cleaned using a solution of bicarbonate of soda and lukewarm water . • Do not use abrasive products or detergents.
13 • The appliance must be installed with adequate ventilation. Ensure that there is 10cm clearance above the appliance, and that there is space between the rear of the appliance and the wall.
14 The appliance is noisy • The appliance is level and stable. • The side and rear walls are clear , and there is nothing resting on the appliance. • The cooling gas in the refrigerator will make a slight bubbling noise, even when the compressor is not running.
