Using your Hob T o switch the zone on • T ouch the key f or the zone requir ed. The zone display will flash 0 and the hob will beep to confirm the hob is on. Please not e: If a power level is not set within five sec onds, the zone will switc h off automatically.
Please not e: • When the zone display shows PC, the zone will swit ch off automatically after fiv e seconds if the power level is not set. • The precook time is pr eset accor ding to the power level select ed. • The precook function can only be used for c ooking at power levels 6-1 2.
Safety F eatures The childloc k The hob is equipped with a childloc k to lock the contr ols. This can be used when the hob is off or during cooking T o set the childlock T ouch the key for appr oximately thr ee seconds until the LED above the c hildlock key illuminates and the hob beeps t o confirm the childloc k is switc hed on.
Efficient Use of your Hob The hob is equipped with zones of diff erent sizes, designed t o accommodate most shapes and sizes of pan. For best results, only use pans with flat bot toms and choose an appr opriate zone depending on the size of the pan.
