5 How t o Use the Hob Gas Burners Gas flow to the burners is adjust ed by turning the knobs (illustrated in fig.2) whic h contr ol the valves. T urning the knob so that the indicator line points to .
6 Lighting Gas Burners In order t o light the burner , you must: 1 – Press in the corr esponding knob and turn c ounter -clockwise (fig. 3) to the full flame position mark ed by the symbol and hold the knob in until the flame has been lit. In the case of a mains failure light the burner with a mat ch or lighted t aper .
7 Choice o f Burner The symbols printed on the panel by the side of the knob indicate whic h burner you are contr olling. Choose a suitable burner depending on the cookwar e diameter and capacity. The pan diameter should be suitable for the burner power to mak e the most of the burner's high efficiency and not waste fuel.

9 Cleaning and Maintenanc e Gener al Tips – Befor e cleaning the hob switch it off and wait f or it to cool down. – Clean with a cloth, hot water and soap or liquid deter gent. – Do not use products whic h are abrasive, c orrosiv e or chlorine based.

13 Installation T echnical Inf ormation for the Installer In or der to install the hob into the kitchen fixture, a hole with the dimensions shown in fig. 1 2 has to be made, bearing in mind the following: – Within the unit, between the bottom of the hob and the upper surface of a shelf there must be a clearance of at least 30mm.
14 Applying the Seals – T urn the cooktop upside down. – Spread the longer seal “ A ” ar ound the left, rear and right sides as shown in figur e 1 5a. – With a cutt er or a scissors cut the ex cess seal “ C ” and r etain it for next use (figur e 1 5b).
15 Fast ening the Installation Br ack ets Each cooktop is pr ovided with an installation kit including brackets and screws for fastening the top to fixture panels fr om 2 to 4 cm thick.
16 Gas Supply Requir ements Important Not e This appliance is supplied for use on NA TURAL GAS or LPG (chec k the gas regulation label attached on the appliance). – Appliances supplied f or use on NA TURAL GAS: they ar e adjusted for this gas only and cannot be used on any other gas (LPG) without modification.
17 Gas Connection The installation of the gas appliance to Natural Gas or LP Gas must be carried out by a suitably qualified and register ed installer .

20 Regulating the Burner Minimum Set ting When changing from one type of gas to another , the minimum tap output must also be correct, considering that in this position the flame must be about 4 mm long and must r emain lit even when the knob is turned sharply from the maximum t o the minimum position.
