Befor e first use o f the fridge Y ou must allow the fridge t o settle for at least tw enty four hours prior to swit ching the po wer on. It is r ecommended that you clean the interior of the appliance prior to first use, using a solution of bicarbonate of soda and warm water and then thor oughly drying the interior .
Setting the t emper ature Both compartment temperatures are r egulated by the same thermostat dial, which is found to the right of the control panel at the top of the door frame when the fridge door is open. The thermostat can be moved between 1 (least cold) and 5 (coldest).
Defr osting the fr eezer Do not use heat ers or defr osting spra ys in this appliance. • Never use any metallic or sharp objects t o remove the ic e as this could damage the lining. • The fr eeze r co mpart ment shoul d be defr osted re gular ly t o ens ur e the most effic ient runni ng o f the fr eez er .
Changing the light bulb Disconnect the appliance fr om the pow er . • Remove the light c over by pressing on the hooks on both sides of the c over . • Unscrew the light bulb t o remove it and r eplace with a new bulb (not more than 1 5W). • Replace the light c over and rec onnect the power .
