Unpacking the W ashing Machine • Remove the base, c orner protect ors and top cov er (Figure 1). Remo ving the T r ansit Bolts • Remove the scr ews holding the plastic covers to the bac k of the washing machine (Figur e 2 and 3). • Loosen and r emove the 3 transit bolts (Figur e 3).
Connecting t o the Mains W ater Supply The water supply hose is located inside the drum. • Connect the bent end of the hose to the thr eaded inlet of the electrov alve located at the r ear of the washing machine. • Connect the other end of the hose to the w ater intake.
Lev elling • T o reduce the noise level fr om the washing machine and to pr event unnecessary movement during use, you should ensur e the washing machine is level using the adjustable feet. Ple ase no te: Ra isin g t he wa shi ng mac hine to o h igh can af fe ct t he stability of the applianc e.
Electrical information W arning! This appliance must be earthed. The mains le ad of this appli anc e has bee n fitt ed wit h a BS 1 363A 1 3 amp fused plug. T o chan ge a fuse in th is type of plug, follow the steps below: 1. Remove the fuse c over and fuse.
Befor e First Use • When your washing machine has been corr ectly installed, we rec ommend that you pre-clean the mac hine. This is to check that the inst allation, the connections and the drainage .
Pr eparing Garments for W ashing Prepar ation • Befor e placing the clothes in the drum, make sur e all the pockets ar e empty (Figure 1 2). Any small objects may block the drain pump. Sorting the Clothes Sort the clothes accor ding to fabric and how they ar e made: • W e recommend using the delicate pr ogrammes for sensitive fabrics.
Deter gents and Additiv es Y our washing machine’s deter gent dispenser has three compartments. • Add the deter gent or additive to the detergent dispenser bef ore st arting the wash progr amme (Figure 1 6). • Liquid deter gents may also be used in this washing mac hine.
Selecting the W ash Pr ogr amme T o select a wash progr amme: • Press the pr ogramme selector dial to r elease it (Figure 20) . • Select the wash pr ogramme by turning the pr ogramme selector dial (Figur e 20 - See progr amme table). • The display on the contr ol panel will light up.
Selecting the W ash Pr ogr amme When you select the pr ogramme, the following inf ormation will be displayed: 1 . W ash progr amme phases: Prewash W a s h Rinse Spin-drying and draining 2. Spin speed 3. Programme number (f or a few seconds) and then pr ogramme duration.

Spin Speed Selection and Anti-Cr ease Y ou should first select the wash progr amme and then select the wash options (Changing the progr amme cancels the pr eset selected options).
Time Dela y Time dela y selection button • A delay of up to 24 hour s can be selected. The delay must be select ed after choosing the wash pr ogramme. • T o select the hours of delay , press the time delay but ton (Figure 2 7). Each time the button is pressed the dela yed start of washing is increased by one hour .
St arting Up Start/P ause button • T o start up the washing machine y ou have to pr ess the Start/Pause butt on (Figure 30). • The time remaining (in minut es) until the end of the progr amme will appear on the display at all times.
W ash Pr ogr amme Phases and Po wer Cuts Progr amme Phases • When the progr amme is running, the programme phase and the time r ema inin g w ill ap pear on th e di spl ay (F igur e 3 3). • The active phases will appear successiv ely at the top of the display as the programme pr ogresses (Figure 33).
fig. 35 fig. 36 18 Maintenanc e • After each w ash, leave the door open f or a while to allow the air to cir culate freely inside the machine. • From time t o time, depending on the hardness of your w ater , it is recommendable to run a full w ash cycle using a decalcifying product.
Cleaning the Filter • Clean the accessible filter if the drain pump is bloc ked by any foreign objects. • Open the kickplate cover with the aid of a c oin and by gently pulling open. • Place a container under the drain pump filt er to collect any wat er that comes out of it (Figure 38).
Safety and T r oubleshooting • If you detect any pr oblems with your washing machine, y ou will probably be able to r ectify them yourself by consulting the following instructions. • If this is not the case, unplug the appliance and contact the tec hnical assistance number .
Pr oblems Why doesn’t the w ashing machine dr ain or spin-dry? • If this failure is detected, F02 will appear on the displa y.
