17 Care a nd Mai ntenanc e Before beginning any care or maint enance, you s hould always disconnect the appliance from th e elect ricity su pply, and also turn off the water su pply. If a prog ramme has been run recently, w ait for the wa ter in the appliance to cool down t o preve nt risk of sc alding.
18 Pump Filter The pump fil ter syst em preven ts ingress o f li nt or foreign objects into the drain pump, reducing the risk of damage. The pu mp filter should be cle ane d regularl y, every two to three months at least. To C lean t he F ilter: • Open the kickplate co ver by pulling down on the lug at the top of the cover .
19 Deterg ent D rawer Detergents m ay cause residue b uild up i n the deterg ent draw er and the drawer housing over t ime. The drawe r should be cleaned regularl y to remove these resid ues. To remov e the drawer: • Pull the drawer out until it stops.

23 Levelling To reduc e the noise l evel from the washing machine and to prevent un necessary m ovement during use, ensure the washing machi ne is level using t he adjustable fee t. First, fix and level the rea r feet. When they a re properly fixed, secure the locknut tightly against the underside of the washing machine .
24 Connecting to the M ains W ater S upply • Fit the seal included in the hose packing at the end of the water inlet hose on the tap side. • Connect the w a ter inlet hose t o a 3”/4, thread ed water tap, then securely tighten the connecting nut by hand.
