2 OS 1.0 Introduction Thank you very much f or purchasing the CA T EYE OS 1.0. Read "SETUP GUIDE" first, for the installation and the basic oper ation of the product. Read this "REFERENCE GUIDE" when you want to kno w more about the CA T EYE OS 1.
OS 1.0 3 1. Buttons See how the f our buttons work in the various modes . ST ART/STOP b utton (ENTER) Normally this button starts and stops timer that eff ects the other functions like a ver age speed, etc. When measuring, the speed scale icon flashes.
4 OS 1.0 2. Functions Current Speed Current Speed alwa ys displays in the upper displa y . The data is updated once a second. When the font siz e is 100%, Current Speed appears be- tween Clock Time and Elapsed Time and is indicated by the flashing Spd icon.
OS 1.0 5 Pace arrow The pace arrow indicates if the current speed is f aster or slower than the av erage speed. If the current speed is equal to the a verage speed, both arrows appear . Eco mode (Sleep mode) When the main unit is left without receiving any signal f or about five min- utes, the displa y goes blank.

Restart/Format/Setup Restart operation (1.When erratic data appears; 2.After replacing battery) After replacing the battery , the electric current can be unstable which might effect the oper ation of the OS1.0. T o av oid this y ou must press the REST ART button after replacing the battery .

OS 1.0 9 Data review Checks and re views the accumulated data of the past. Press MENU button again to return to measuring screen. Last ride day data Shows all the data measured in the last ride da y (0:00 - 23:59 or midnight to midnight). When the clock passes mid- night, the da y's data is memorized as the "last ride day data".
10 OS 1.0 Menu Screen (contin ued) Function setting The function setting screens allow y ou to change various programmed functions. At any time press MENU button to return to normal mea- suring screens. Note: By pressing the two SELECT/MODE but- tons simultaneously you can go bac k to the previous on screen.
OS 1.0 11 Date setting Changes the date setting. It is important to input the correct date as it affects the accumulated data. Function customizing Selects only your f avorite functions that you want to use (ref er to page 12). Display contrast setting Adjusts the contrast of the screen (right: dar ker , left: lighter).
