The c ool down s tate is indicate d by the PO WER/ST ANDBY indicator flashin g orange.
Getting Ready E-22 z When y ou turn off the projec tor , the lamp goe s out and the proj ector goes into a cool dow n state. Note that y ou will not be abl e to turn the proj ector back on again while it is cooling d own. z The projec tor m ay remain quit e hot for a whil e after you tur n it off.

E-31 User Maintenance English About the Lamp There are two types of lamp c ar tridges, T ype A ( with hand le) and T ype B (with ribb on) as shown i n the illustrat ion.

Inser t the new lamp car tridge as far as it will go, as shown in the illustration. z After inserting the lamp cartridge, in the case of a T ype A lamp c ar tr idge, lo wer the handle towards t he lamp.

Confirm that th e PO WER/ST ANDBY indicator is lit red (wit hout flashing) and t hat the f an has stopp ed.
