While the watch is in the Digital Compass Mode, place it on a flat surf ace, or if y ou are wearing the watch, mak e sure that your wrist is horizontal (in relation to the horizon). 2. Release E , and wait f or four or fiv e more seconds until either OFF or the current reference temper ature value (if set) starts to flash.
