5 Daily Oper ation • Container s with flammable gases or liquids can leak at low temper atures. Ther e is a risk of an explosion! Do not store any container s with flamma- ble materials such as, spr ay cans, fire extinguisher r efill cartridges etc in the r efrigerator/fr eezer .
6 Remove tr ansport packaging The appliance and the interior fittings ar e pr otected for transport. • Remove all adhesive tape and packing pieces fr om the interior of the appliance. Disposal of old Appliances For envir onmental reasons, r efrigeration appliances must be disposed of pr operly .
Starting up and temper ature r egulation W ash the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water with a little bicar- bonate of soda added (5ml to 0,5 litr e of water). Do not use soap or deter- gent as the smell may linger . Dry the appliance thoroughly .
8 Interior Accessories Stor age Shelves The glass shelf above the fruit and vegetable compartment should always remain in position, to ensur e fruit and vegetables stay fresh longer . The r emaining storage shelves can be adjusted to various heights: Pull the stor age shelf forward until it can be tipped up or down and r emo- ved.
