2 Congratulations on th e purchase of your AEG appliance. We are sure it will provide many years of great cooking experience. You may find that it has different feat ures and characteristics to your last appliance. It is essential you read this op eration manual thoroughly to fully understand all of the various functi ons and operations.
3 A - Installation check and warnings IMPORTANT: Please ensure that the ov en cavity , venting an d wiring is as specified in the relevant section G/H of this manual. A licensed electrician with relevant quali fications must perform electrical wo rk when installing or servicing the appliance.
4 Accessories Your appliance should come equipped with the following items. Single Oven – SEO 60, SEO 76, SEO 90 1 x pair of Retractable Slide Runners fitt ed to uppe r position and capable of b.
5 B- Using the appliance for the first time After installation remove all notification la bels ( not iden tification or warnin g labels) and packaging materials. After cleaning m ake sure cleaned surfaces are tho rou ghly rinsed and wipe d dry using a clean, soft clot h.
6 TOUCH-CONTROL KEYS The “touch-control” key s shell be op erat ed by the fingers ( just touching the key ). When using touch controls it is best to use the ball of your finger ra ther than the tip.

8 1 - DISPLAY Clock display With 4 digits, generally represe nts du rati ons , hours, and info messages. It comprise 3 symbols representing op erat ive conditions of times. Pot symbol If switched on, indicates a working cooki ng function, even if in manual mode.
9 2.3 Switching the oven ON / OFF Touch and release the button 3, the timer display sho ws “On” After two sec the oven light and the program di splay are on.
10 3.2 Manual cooking Switch on the oven as per the paragraph 2. 3. Select the oven function, the oven temperature is suggested by default, ca n be ch ang ed by pressing buttons 1 and 2 3.3 Automatic cooking modes (Based on setting the duration “DUR”) Use automatic cooking to automatically turn the oven on, coo k, and then turn the oven off.
11 3.5 Fully automatic – (Start Later – Stop Later) Turn the oven as indicated in the parag raph 2.3. Select a cooking function, the oven suggests a default temperatu re, the temperature can be changed by using the b uttons “ ” or “ ”,.
12 D- Cooking modes and Instructions NOTE: cooking functions will vary from model to model – following is a description of the functions that are available and some or all of these functions will be included on the product you have purchased.
13 PREHEATING Preheating the oven is not essential, but you w ill achieve better re sults if you do. Some foods, particularly cakes and pastry, are better coo ked in a preh eated oven. Other foods, for example casseroles, cook just as well whe n cooked in a non-preheated oven but may need longer cooking times.

15 PIZZA This function is also excellent as the fastes t oven pre heat, engaging maximum powe r to heat the oven to a selected temperature before sele cting an approp riate function and temperature for a task. In this position the fan and fan element toget her with the under oven element a re engaged simultaneously.
16 FAN ASSIST This style of cooking provides traditional cook ing heating from top and bottom elements with the assistance of a circulation fan to ensure fast even results. This mode is most suit able for delicate cooking such as cakes, pastries, gatea ux, biscuits and yeast dough.
17 FAN GRILL NOTE: Door must be closed in Fan Grill Mode Fan grilling is a combination of direct heat and circula t ed hot air wh ich gives the appearance a nd flavor similar to rotisserie cooking which is ideal for single level roa sts.
18 FULL GRILL & HALF GRILL This mode of cooking uses infrared heat from the top of the oven to cook foods to your requirements. Half grill eng ages only the inner band of the top element and is suitable for sm al ler volumes and has a conse q uently lower energy usage.
19 E - Cleaning and Maintenance 1. Cleaning and maintenance Proper cleaning and care o f your appliance is ess ential to maintain its appearance and durabili ty. NOTE: People with sensitivity to cleaning chemical s must take the necessary pre cautions.
20 Recommended cleaners Mild detergents and warm water together with a clean, soft, non-abrasive cloth achieve goods results for normal cleaning. Diluted wash es with am monia and wat er sh ould rinse away any adhesive residue or g umm y deposits on the applianc e surfa ces.
21 How the Self cleaning panels work . The self-cleaning oven p anels go through a sp eci al enamelling process whi ch ultimately creates a rough surface (this is the side which sho uld face outward s in the oven). Becau se of the structu re of the surface, it is extremely porous and attracts oxygen.
22 Removing oven door (pull do wn door models only) The oven door can be easily removed for better acce ss while cleaning. To rem ove the oven door: 1. Open the door fully and fit the supplied pin in the hole. 2. Raise the door slightly, holding the sides of the doo r about half wa y up.
23 How to Rotate Doors in the Double and Single Oven NOTE: Side Opening Only This should only be done b y a qualified person o r installer. We recommend that it be a two person task to ensure support of the he avy door apparatus during cha nge over.
24 F - Trouble Shooting Guide G - Installation instructions. INFORMATION FOR THE INSTALLER THE GRAB HANDLES MUST BE U SED TO MOVE THE OVEN. WHEN THE OVEN IS HALF FITTED IN THE CABINET, IT IS POSSIBLE TO REMOVE THE TWO HANDLES BY UNSCREWING THE FOUR FIXING SCREWS.
