Operating Instructions 7 Intended Use • This appliance must n ot be used for purposes other than that inten- ded, it must only be used for the cooking, roasting and baking of food in the home. • Only use the appliance to pr epare food. • Do not use the oven to heat the r oom.

Operating Instructions 9 The main featur es of your appliance • Mains Bu tton: The entire appliance is switched on and off using the mains button. This provides additional safety , if there ar e children in the house, it is not possible to inadvertently switch on the appliance via the individual switches.
Operating Instructions 10 Description of the Appliance Contr ol panel Mains Button For switching the entire appliance on and off. The appliance is: -switched on when the button is r eleased, -switched off when the button is depr essed. Oven Function and Function Indicators Buttons for selecting the r equired oven function.
Operating Instructions 11 Oven Lighting Button to switch the oven lighting on and off. The oven lighting is switched on automatically when the oven is in use. However , to save ener gy , the lighting can be switched off using this button and only switched on as r equir ed.
Operating Instructions 12 Oven Featur es Shelf P ositions There ar e side rails on both sides of the oven, each of these has 6 shelf positions. At two positions, there are also telescopic shelf runner rails to ease the r emoval o f cooked food. Please note that the shelf positions are counted fr om top to bottom .

Operating Instructions 14 Oven Functions The following functions are available for the oven: PIZZA & BAKING Using this function you can bake cakes on one level . This function is also suitable for dishes that r equire mor e intensive br owning and a crispy base, e.
Operating Instructions 15 DUAL GRILL The large grill is suited to the grilling or toasting of flat foods in lar ger quantities, for example, steaks, cutlets, fish or toast. For this function a second grill element on the roof of the oven is swit- ched on in addition to the small grill.
Operating Instructions 16 Befor e using for the first time Setting/ Changing the Time Following the connection of mains power the TIME function indicator and the temperatur e/time display flash. Y ou must then set the time. The time can be set with the appliance eit- her switched on or off.
Operating Instructions 17 Changing the Time The time setting can be changed with the ap pliance either switched on or off. The time set is displayed in the temper atur e/time display . 0 1. Pr ess the W button as often as necessary until the TIME function indi- cator flashes.

Operating Instructions 19 Inserting the Shelf and Sheet The shelf is equipped with two guide r ails on the right and left, these must always point down- wards.
Operating Instructions 20 Attaching/r emoving the grill pan handle The handle is particularly useful for easy r emoval of the grill pan and tr ay out of the hot oven. Attaching the handle 0 Insert the handle at an angle from above into the r ecesses on the grill pan (1), raise it slightly then lower it (2), until it engages audibly .
Operating Instructions 21 Switching the Oven On and Off 0 1. Switch on the appliance using the mains but- ton. The mains pilot light above the button illumina- tes. 2. Set the r equir ed function by pressing the X or Y button. 3. The selected function is displayed.
Operating Instructions 22 Changing the Oven Temper ature Following the selection of the oven function, a suggested temperature appr opriate to the function is displayed in the temperatur e/time dis- play . Y ou can change the suggested temper ature if necessary , either befor e or during baking.
Operating Instructions 23 F ast Warm Up R Following selection of an oven function, the empty oven can be pr e-heated in a r elatively short period of time using the function “ Fas t Wa r m U p ” . 1 Important: Please only place the food to be cooked in the oven when fast warm up is complete and the oven is running in the r equired function.
Operating Instructions 24 3 Y ou have approx. 5 seconds to make an entry after the selection of a clock function. At the end of this time, the function indicator for the selected clock function extinguishes and you must select it again. Automatic Switching Off 0 1.
Operating Instructions 25 Automatic Switching On and Off For automatic switching on and off, both the cook time and the end time must be entered. In the following instructions, the cook time is set fir st and then the end time. The settings can however be made in the re v e rs e o rd e r .
Operating Instructions 26 Changing Automatic Pr ogr amme Entries Y ou can still change the cook time or the end time during co oking. 0 1. Using the clock W button, select the COOK TIME or END TIME function. The corr esponding function indicator starts to flash.
Operating Instructions 27 Setting the Timer Countdown The timer countdown oper ates independently to the oven, and can be set both when the oven is in use as well as when no oven function is selected. 0 1. If necessary , switch on the appliance using the mains button.
Operating Instructions 28 Switching On/Off the Oven Lighting The oven lighting switches on automatically as soon as the oven is switched on. However , you can also switch the oven lighting on and off manually . The appliance must be switched on using the mains button.
Operating Instructions 29 Oven Child Safety Featur e The oven is fitted with a child safety featur e. As soon as the child safety featur e is enabled, the oven cannot be switched on. Only the interval countdown can be used. 3 It is only possible to enable the child safety feature when all oven functions ar e deselected.
