7 V enet o ™ Using Existing Ceiling Fixture Outlet Box Af ter turning the power OFF at its source (either the circuit breaker or fuse box), lower the old xture and disconnect the wiring. Chec k the ceiling xture outlet box to be sure it is marked “ Approved for Ceiling Fan Mounting.

9 V enet o ™ Step 6. T wist the Pipe Assembly into the Motor Adapter by turning Counter -Cloc kwise. Step 7 . Securely retighten the setscrew on the Motor Adapter with the Allen Wrenc h. CA UTION: The Motor Adapter has a special coating on the threads.
10 UPPE R GL A SS HAR DW AR E Upper Glass Upper Bulb (6) UPPE R GL A SS A SSE MBL Y Step 1 . Slide the Glass over the upper par t of the Fan Assembly . Step 2. The Glass should rest inside the rim of the lower par t of the motor on top of the foam strips to avoid contact with rim.
1 1 V enet o ™ P ow er Fr om Ceiling Line P ow er (IN) Line Neutral (IN) White Neutral F r om Ceiling Step 1 . Locate the White Line Neutral (IN) and connect it to the White Neutral Wire from your ceiling using one of the supplied orange wire caps. Step 2.

T ake the White Neutral t o F an Wire and connect it to the White Wire coming from the fan with a blue wire cap. Step 7 . Use the Red P o wer t o F an Wire and connect it to the Red Wire coming from the fan with a blue wire cap.
13 V enet o ™ Step 9. Carefully tuc k the wires around the Receiver and Hanging Brac ket as not to loosen the wire caps. Step 1 0. Insert 2 Canopy S crews into the Hanging Plate diagonally across from eac h other so they matc h the keyholes on the canopy .
14 BL AD E HAR DW AR E BL AD E I NST ALL A T IO N Blades (5) Blade Irons (5) Medallions (5) Blade Screws (21) Blade Iron Screws (1 1) Step 1 . Insert the Medallion into the holes in the Blade. Step 2. Align the screw holes on the Blade Iron with the holes in the Medallion.
15 V enet o ™ LI GHT KIT HAR DW AR E LI GHT KIT IN ST ALL A T IO N Lower Glass Light Kit Light Kit Screw (3) Lower Bulb (3) Glass Cover Finial Step 1 . T o attac h the Light KIt Mounting Plate partially install two light kit screws into the switc h housing mounting plate.
16 Step 7 . Remo ve the three lower bulbs from their pac kaging, and install into the light kit. Note: When replaceing bulbs, only replace with max 40 wat t bulbs. Step 8. Raise the Glass up to the Glass Adapter on the bottom of the Light Kit. Step 9.
17 Direct - T ouch 1 2 0 4 3 IN ST ALL IN G TH E W74 W ALL C O NTRO L W -74 CONTROL INST ALLA TION The wall control installs in the same manner as an ordinary light switc h, using an existing wall bo x and wiring. This controller is designed to signal the fan microcomputer as well as perform normal switc hing operations.
18 1 2 0 4 3 1 . T o control the fan and lights from two locations (a three-way circuit), use two W-7 4 wall controls. 2. Remo ve the screws and switc h plate from the existing switc h bo x and the screws holding the switc h in the switc h box. Figure #5 3.
