4 F AN PREP ARA TION (not to scale) Pr epare for fan installation as follows: Step 1a. Using the provided Allen wrench (attached to the paper motor warning shield), loosen the Allen set screw attached to the motor coupling.

6 CANOPY INST ALLA TION Step 4. Attac h the canop y to the cr ossbar mountin g bracket with three of the 8-32 x 2 1 / 2 ” long c anopy screws (S crew P ack B) and lock washers provided with your Casablanca fan. Tighten using the provided screwdriver until snug against the ceiling.
7 C o t t a g e ™ W e t Step 6. A ttach the fan wires to the ceiling fixtur e outlet box wiring by plac ing the bare ends of the wir es side by side and then securing with a wire nut. T est that the connection is secure by pulling on the wir e nut.

10 Install the Switc h Housing Mounting Screws Step 13a. L ocate the t wo dummy switch housing screws you removed in Step 8. Instal l them onto the motor as shown, leaving approximately 1/8” of the threads exposed for installation of the switch housing.
