3 INST ALLA TION INSTRUCTIONS Unpacking: Befor e assembling and in stalling your ceilin g fan, rem ove all parts from th e shipping cartons an d check them again st the parts listed her e . Befor e discarding pack aging m aterial, be certain that all parts have been r emoved .
4 CEILING HARDW ARE CROSSBAR MOUNTING BRACKET WIRE NUT (4) GETTING ST ARTED Installing a New Ceiling Fixtur e Outlet Box If you do n ot have an existin g fixture located wh ere you wish to place your Casablanca f an, an approved ceilin g fixture outlet box m ust be installed and wir ed.
5 CANOPY INST ALLA TION CANOPY LOCK W ASHERS CANOPY SCREWS CROSSBAR MOUNTING BRACKET INST ALLED CANOPY Note: On sloped ceilings, align the canopy opening towards the top or room peak. Step 2. A ttach the canopy to th e crossbar m ount- ing br acket with thr ee of th e 8-32 x 2 1 / 4 ″ long canopy scr ews and can opy lock washers .

T uck th e wires into th e canopy with the wir e nuts poin ted upwards , so that the WHITE an d BLACK wir es are on opposite sid es of th e canopy and all wir es are clear o f the can opy opening. Step 6. Install can opy hatch with the last canopy scr ew and lock wash er .
7 INST ALL BLADES Step 10. Usin g the blad e hold er screws from the pack, attach each blad e/blade h older as- sembly to the m otor (two screws per blad e). Use th e blade access h ole to install the scr ews. Usin g the scr ewdriver , tighten secur ely by hand only .
8 8 Remo ving Contr ol Gently Pull th e lower edg e of th e contr ol out from th e hold er . Note: The wall anchors and 6-32 x 1 ” screws may be used in situations where mounting to a stud is not possible .
9 SEND SIGNAL LED VERSA•T OUCH OPERA TION F an Contr ol T o start the f an. Press the selected speed button to run th e fan at th e desir ed speed. LO=Low speed MED=Medium speed HI=High speed T o turn off th e fan. Press th e F AN OFF button. Airflo w Dir ection T o r everse the airflow press th e REVERSE button.
